I visited the links you sent me. That Sparky was quite a dog. I wish i could have met him in person. He sounds a lot like my rat "terror", GiGi. She is afraid of loud noises, too. At first she would quiver all over when it thundered. Now she is much better. i guess being in a stable home is the difference. That you for sharing Sparky's story. I won't soon forget that great friend of yours. Hugs, Linda (wally01)
Thank you http://cheezburger.com/8340328704 Here's a couple of links if you would like to read a little more about Sparky: http://rosshines.blogspot.com/2008/08/meet-sparky.html http://rosshines.blogspot.com/2008/10/meet-sparky-again.html
I know that cool spot against your legs will bother you a while. The warmth that was Sparky will be missed. I have seven dogs, but only two sleep with me. GiGi, the rat terrier, has to be beside me so that she can touch me. Buddy Lee, a cocker spaniel, is content to sleep at the foot of the bed. Rescue dogs are the best, in my opinion. Linda (wally01)
Thank you. He really was a big part of my life. My wife of 29 years is the only one to sleep with me longer than he did. His first night here, he cried and cried. My wife told me to bring him upstairs to sleep with us. I told here "We just got this dog from the pound, He might tear our throats out while we sleep." She said "He'll be alright". I put Sparky on our bed and he curled up next to my legs. He must have seen me as "Alpha Dog". He slept with us all the time we had him.
Ohai. Thank you for remembering my birthday with the cute LOL. That sleepy puppy may have had it right. Not only is it the 13th with a full moon, but when I got to work at the library there was a painter in front of the door with a very tall ladder. All I needed was a black cat to cross my path! (My apologies to all black cats). Hugs, Linda (wally01)
Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad I could bring a smile to you. This time of year can be tough when we have lost loved ones. My wife lost her brother and dad in successive years and this is the first year since then where she says she's really been in the Christmas mood. Having 10 grandchildren, I've heard plenty of twisted carols.
Thanks so much for the great laugh I had when I saw your collectible. My brother Stephen was always making up twisted lyrics like that. He passed away almost four years ago, but tonight when I saw that little kitty singing his heart out, he was with me again making me laugh until I cried. Not all of his "creations" were fit for mixed company, but he would have loved yours. Hugs, Linda (wally01)
Hi. What a sweet goggie and so very thoughtful. I hope he chose the chicken gushy food. That's the good kind. Thanks for the LOL. It made my day. I appreciate your thinking of me. Hugs, Linda (wally01)
