Hi, my son (now 11) named Skitty when we got her 4 years ago. Skitty is also the name of a Pokemon character (which my son was really into big time back then). We also call Skitty by her nickname - Skittles and Skittycat.

I was curious how Skitty got his name...I had two friends who named their cats Skitty - one b/c he was skiddish, the other b/c their daughter wanted to name him Skittles and it evolved into Skitty :)
