Hi SovaPlum. Fang-q fur teh buoy... boyents... bowie... teh floaty fings. We bowts 2 hourz frum teh Flint Hillz, but eben owr flat county had sum roadz unner watter for a wile. Bowt teh Flint Hills... yes, there are trees, usually down in the bottom of valleys where there are streams or just where water collects during rains. Besides flint, there are also chalk formations. All across the western 2/3 of Kansas there are wonderful fossils of marine reptiles from when there was a prehistoric inland sea over us. Some of the best in the world come from here! I don't know if you can see a program called "River Monsters" or not (it's on Animal Planet, one of the Discovery Channel's sister networks), but in one episode host Jeremy Wade was in the flint hills at a fossil dig for an enormous ancient fish. Ennywayz, I'z gonna post sum pics I fownd online. ++ Fang-Q on behaffs ub my niece fur teh choccie victry hat. I haz hurd ub ANZAC Day. (Not all 'Muricanz iz ignerint.) Shud I be on teh lookowt fur trudishunal yello rubber duks or sum ub teh fancy theem duks? I gots mai hubby a Bat-Duck wif teh mask an logo. Wen u smak hiz butt hard he goze all diffurnt culurz!!

There are a couple-3 fotos in Cheez & mayo, buts ifinkso to back up an trash, ai'm over-stuffed! Syl hasa couple pics of Sheldon n me, no way he was 1yr -1 1/2 , thinks he's super-cat, has grown a lot! Brought the "snuffles" upper resp. Virus, everyone got symptoms, are doing fine, but my other boy-cat Taeo is developing a secondary infection, his poor eyes are puffing up badly. Off to the V.E.T. today. Sigh. Need to get your mayo, can you ask NC or APC, or Syl or bgcm? Don't like to just put stuff in here too much. (If someone wants info THAT badly, they'll get it anyway, but they must be really bored) :) Pc

I couldn't add more RAM to the old computer--no more slots. Your new HP is going to be really fast! I like Windows 7 Pro (we use that at work), but I went with 8 because it has some features I like that 7 doesn't have, and I've had no problem using a mouse with it. The reviews by those who have been beta testing Windows 10 are very, very good. If you liked XP, you should love 10. I will let you know what I think when ti comes out and is available as an upgrade. Woodee and Prudence are asleep in one of the warm boxes with full stomachs from pigging out on the party mix. I'm quite relaxed with a glass of red wine tinged with cinnamon. I hope it will help me sleep well tonight. I am finding it difficult to believe the morning will be my last school Monday. I hope you got the vacuuming done and enjoyed a good movie. Here is a vase of blue hydrangea blooms and some small pillows filled with some strong meowy wowie.

Clinks glass against yours, sniffles, and says, "To you, my friend Harry." Wow, you have outdone yourself with the comix! I have laughed and laughed over that, and I thank you. I've downloaded it and saved it. My old Dell was from 2007, but I knew when XP wasn't going to be supported anymore that it would be best to get a new one and go to 8. Now I will get 10 free, so it was a good deal. I save from the time I buy a computer so I will be ready to buy a new one when the time comes, and I always put together a top of the line system so it will be usable longer. The old XP computer still runs fine, but it was limited to 8 GB of RAM, and the one I replaced it with has 32 GB. I can't stand a slow computer, and RAM is one of the keys to keeping things fast. This one also came with a sold state hard drive, and that thing is lightning fast. For now I'm using an external platter drive for my back ups, but I plan to replace it with a solid state drive when I have time to install it. I hope you enjoy your day off!

That is just plain rotten that your computer has been delayed. I hope you can get it this coming week. I would have beaten the old one to its final death with a hammer by now. You have shown remarkable restraint putting up with all those crashes. I have gotten an Android tablet for its mobility and so I can have a way to get online for help if something should happen to my computer. I have a backup that is maintained multiple times daily, so I don't have to worry about losing any files, but I will need internet access to find help if it's a problem I can fix. I have three more years on the extended warranty I purchased when I bought it, so I also have Dell behind me, and their customer service is excellent, but there are tings I can take care of myself. I managed to make a typing error with setting a new Windows password a few months ago and needed to get to my Microsoft account to fix things so I could get into my system. That time I could simply go to school early and do what I needed to do there, but I won't have that option after June 4. I do have a smart phone, but that tiny screen isn't the best for doing much on the Internet. A ten inch tablet will be just fine though. Of course if the router gives up the ghost, I will be totally down until I can replace it. I got a Wi-Fi tablet rather than one that has a 4G contract. I pay a fortune for our phones as it is. Harry would indeed smile at our ceremonial libation. Thursday when we have our usual farewell lunch (there will be no students around as it is a work day for staff), and those leaving for other jobs and we who are retiring are recognized, it's going to be really sad without him there. I had thought about playing "School's Out" at top volume with all the car windows down when I leave for the last time, but I'm going quietly now. Harry was going to retire too. I guess in a way he did, and I have no doubt he is in a better place, but we wanted him to be with us. That's cool that your mom has amaryllis too. We also have some red and white ones that just opened this week. I'm sending some blooms in a vase. The kittehs have already claimed the flattened boxes and are on my case to set some up for them. Maybe i will make them a kitteh city. LOL Have a good week, and I hope by next weekend you will be using a computer that works properly.

Hiya Sova! I spoze I askt fur it, wut wif sayin u cudn't senz too mush rainz... I fink we FINELY bowts to get to a stoppin poynt. At leest we nawt habbin' teh awfull fluddin like dey's habbin south ub us in Texas and Oklahoma. Really... it's awful there. Over 300 homes were swept away by the Blanco River in Texas, and that's just one of many affected. I heard a report that it rose almost **8 meters** in one hour! The report said 26', but if they really meant 26" then it would be about 2/3 of a meter. The first one might be right, though, because they also said the river was flowing at twice the rate of... Niagara Falls. (O_o) Even worse, last I heard around a dozen people had been killed, maybe more. It is just so strange given the horrid drought conditions for the last several years. I think somebody "up there" forgot to leave the spigot on before and is now trying to make up for it. Yeah, thanks for that... not. ++ So, u habz rollin hillz? Dat sownz purrty. :) Neer wer owr neece gragitayted are the Flint Hills. U shud look'em up cuz dey'z sooper purrty! Hardz to gets gud picherz ub'em, lessen ur a purrfeshonal. Der'z hardly enny treez so all u seez fur milez iz teh cool land furmayshunz. Late in teh dey wen teh shadoze go long iz purrty magical! Neece's gragitayshun wents OK, but wuz porin' most ub teh dey. Hehee! He is one (his age young adult, a good companion for us all, he and Taeo( who is 4, Taeo pushing 18 lbs, not too fat, YET, but he's big cat, bored, Sheldon is built like a Manx about 9 1/2 lbs or more, they have a blast and Sheldon is a love, learning to not climb EVERYTHING or bite hard. (Claws too) screens etc, he's smart and is getting it no prob! Still thinks he's "ceiling(literally) cat. Get OFF the ceiling! Yis, it's syl's fault, I was already thinking seriously about another, then I see some fotos she posted. I knew who would come home, someone adopted both sisters, one was a black beauty, other looked like "cinnamon"Ted, my spokescat for plaids. I'd already put myself in danger, being there with 50-70 cats, they have great people caring for them, there are whole rooms, "catios" tons of blankies Syl has made, they're gonna need some funds soon tho! If I was a little closer, might do some vol. some anyway, I'm 4hrs one way. I will end up with 20 cats myself. There are some fotos, I find a couple! Pc

I'm glad you will have a new computer soon. I hope you have all your files like pictures, videos, mail contacts, bookmarks, etc., saved. I also hope that the study does find lots of that bio chemical in chocolate, red wine, etc. I fear, however, even if is found, the scientists will end up warning us that ingesting too much of these items will cause more harm than good. LOL That's great that the film crew honored their promise--sounds as though you had a delicious evening. Thank you for the begonias, such a lovely shade of red! I'm taking some of the health food with me to work to snack on during my planning time because I get hungry before lunch. Woodee and Prudence wanted to eat all the snacks in one big gulp, but I made them share a dish and saved the other dish full for later. The wine and chocolate is especially appreciated. Tuesday evening one of our two Junior Officers Training Corps instructors collapsed on the softball practice field (he also coached) and could not be revived--massive heart attack. He was a retired US Marine (decorated in Vietnam) and this was his 21st year with us. He was to retire with me in June. There is no one, parent, student, or staff, who didn't love Gunny, and we were just shattered. Yesterday was one of the hardest days I've ever had at work. You know teens and how everything they do is energetic and loud. Well, when they arrived, there was dead silence other than sniffling. While they waited in the cafeteria for the bell to signal going to their first class of the day (usually a situation requiring hearing protection), there was only the sound of sniffling. It stayed that way in the halls as they went to class and continued as we all went outside to the flag pole for a ceremonial lowering of our American flag and our Virginia flag to half mast. I wish a news crew had been there, for that was the highest mark of respect and love that anyone could ever have, and I hope he was looking down and saw that. Here are some orange amaryllis blooms for you and a bag full of milk jug rings for the kittehs.

I suspect the head office has more than a suspicion to go on to order new paint jobs for all the trucks, an expensive undertaking. I hope the official word will come soon so you won't have to agonize over not knowing any longer. Yes, I have irises in the yard, but for some reason the blue ones have disappeared. I don't know what happened to them. I have gotten some from a friend and am sending you a vase of them in memory of your aunt. I can understand the little mistake with the dried salmon. Lots of people eat it dried as a treat. I'm glad you can make up for it with the kittehs by having all those free samples to give them. Woodee and Prudence are most delighted that you have generously shared the bounty with them. They have major turkey breath! I hope your computer will hold out until you get a replacement. I'm sorry winter is rearing its cold head. I think the lack of daylight and the cloudy days are much worse than the cold. I will send you flowers as they bloom. Here are some red roses to add to the irises.
