I won't spoil it for you but they are awesome! I mean look at what time I posted this message lol, iv been up all night reading. the artwork is well done, and the story is good so far. Its definitely made for bronies, there's a little wink to the reader every now and then.
I'm not sure about the rules in Washington, but in Ohio there's no road test either, there's a written test (which I've already taken), and a quick parking lot maneuverability test. (which I'm going to take as soon as I go home over the summer.
Wow dude that was quite a spill you took then. Ya that will teach anyone the value of safety no doubt! ok, so you already get how the clutch system and brakes work, along with the general mechanics, that's the most important thing! It seems your already ready for a bike, just have to ease your way into it to get the feel of the weight and handling and your there. I don't know what the legalities of riding up there are, I know in Alabama all you have to do Is take a short written test and thats all. its super easy, no street test or anything. how bout up there?
I've driven dirt bikes before, and my dad taught me to ride, I've just never owned my own bike... or had a license. I've never wrecked on the tarmac, but I've been in a few dirt bike wrecks. And ironically I've hurt myself far worse on a regular bicycle. I broke both my arms, smashed out my front teeth, and suffered a mild concussion. So for the sake of my teeth, I think I'm gonna start small, and work my way up... also I've learned the a value of the helmet
I know where your coming from man. The city is just not a bike friendly place, people just don't pay any attention to bikers on the road, those crowded city streets are a wreck waiting to happen. and wrecking on a bike sucks hard. super hard. mega super hard. lol. Yep, Victories are sweet but there just so darn expensive, thats why you don't see many. heck ya man I'm always in favor of people getting bikes! its good on gas mileage and there's really nothing like that freedom you feel on a bike. Have you driven anything like a bike before? like a mopad or dirtbike? or are you gonna just hit the ground running on a full size bike?
Dude the Polaris Victory are so cool. I have a neighbor with a Honda Shadow, but I've never met anyone with a Polaris. I can't wait to graduate. In all honesty, I'll probably have a motorcycle before I get a car. But, I'm from Cleveland, so that's not the smartest thing in the world. But I want a bike so bad
oh you said what kind of bike do i like! not what i ride. lol, well I really like all cruisers but I really like Victory bikes by Polaris, I like that sleek look and that's pretty much all Victory makes
I agree with your choice man that's a sweet looking bike, It has that Sportster feel to it, so sleek and sporty! You have good taste. The speedometer is a little weird in it's position on top of the handle bars but idk i think it looks kinda cool. It incorporates that the old school style positioning with a newer looking bike, gives it character. well your uncle might be right, then again he might just be trying to convert you lol. I haven't personally met anyone with a shadow so i couldn't say. Though I do know a couple people with harleys and usually what i hear from them is that their so loud and vibrate so much in idle that some of the nuts and bolts start to vibrate loose, that's nothing major but it's just unnecessary hassle from time to time. other then that Harleys are awesome! I ride a Suzuki Boulevard C50, It's a smaller stock engine then the m109r. I don't do much long distance riding, but it's perfect for around town and short distance. I do hope to get a bigger bike eventually though
Yes we have talked about this, you gave me the idea. I'll be honest, I usually prefer american bikes, but I just love the Honda 2000 Shadow. It just needs a custom speedometer, the stock version looks a bit off. They're powerful, reliable, and they're loud enough to be bad, without being obnoxious. My uncle says there pron to suspension problems, but I think he's just a Harley fanboy, trying to convert me? What kind of bike do you like?
lol I just got your comment. Dude That shirt is awesome. Let me tell you from experience it's a feeling of epic awesomeness. haven't we talked about this already? I like Harleys and all but I can't ride them. they are sooo loud, I like a nice smooth purr
That sounds like fun! well cant say much, helped move a washer and dryer today, but with a twist, we had to lower it over a balcony because the builder built them in and never thought about taking them out lol, we ended up using nylon towing rope which my hands are still burning from. it happens i guess, got a free washer and dryer out of the deal though that was cool
Not much I suppose. I've been busy the last few day, I've been running around the city with my old high school pals, a few were on furlough, and a few were on vacation so we had ourselves a good old fashion reunion. What have you been up to?
what shame? lol iv never played but my buddy in DC does and it sounds like an intensely fun game! you like astronomy too?! thats awesome so do I. I have Celestron Starbright XLT, it not very big but its great for moon viewing parties and on a clear night you can see the eye of Jupiter, so thats cool.Whats your favorite star? back on the hobbies subject I thought i'd get back into "Magic the Gathering", I used to play all the time but when i moved to Alabama i just couldn't find anyone to play with, but now I do so im gonna start playing again.
What kind of hobbies are you into? Like I said before I enjoy writing but I also have a love of astronomy and photography, and I'm a bit of a gamer as well... and (with a mild amount of shame) I dabbled with Warhammer 40K, but it was too expensive and time consuming
