You're welcome. You might want to reconsider keeping the '1'. It's easier to remember without it, for those that type it into the address bar.

It was Hitchcock. I was trying to get ahold of him to take him to the vet. He was having a self-mutilation fit (not a real seizure, but similar, where he lost control of bladder and bowels and bit himself hard). We had tried to control these episodes for about a year with no real luck. He was nearly dead on arrival, along with Puff. We brought them back to life and got their mom to take over feeding them, but Hitch had a lot of problems. Puff was fine after a year, but Hitch just kept getting worse. Anyway, he was having a fit and my wrist got between his mouth and his own leg that he was about to bite. In his state, he wouldn't let go of my wrist for about twenty agonizing seconds. It gave me a first-hand idea of just what pain he'd been inducing upon himself, poor kitty!

We won the Series in 2010 and 2012...I kinda like the every other year thing...may it continue. I guess DG kinda flies under the radar...or at least my radar. There are probably a fair number of courses right around here. It's the sort of sport that would appeal to our demographic though real estate is at a premium. Choosing dinner really is a collaborative effort. Mom usually defers to me if I have an idea. Sometimes she'll choose something that she wants me to cook but she chooses stuff that she'll fix, too. She's more likely to make a meatloaf or a stew as those are things I generally don't fix. stir fry kinda sounds good. Mom and I used to make stir fry together often when I was a teen. Time for walkies...TTYL

And weird of weird, I turned on TVLand where they're showing the Andy Griffith episode of the county nurse trying to give Rafe Hollister a tetanus shot.

Wow...2am is when you're typically still up, not when you're getting out of bed. The G-men will appreciate your support the rest of the way. It's a tough road but it always is once you get to the playoffs. This will be the 6th year in a row that either the Giants or the Cardinals are representing the National League in the World Series. I think our playoff experience helped us against the Nats but the Cards have just as much. It's going to be a heck of a series. There are probably some days when nine holes will be all you can squeeze in so Redmond could be a nice change of pace. At least you have that new one in Bend. There are probably plenty of places in the country that don't have dg courses at all...I could be way wrong about that though. It's a Wednesday so I'll be up with the folks this afternoon. We still haven't decided on what's up for dinner. That's a big decision each week.

Can you imagine us walking with the tree's?!! It's a fun image, isn't it?!! The old one's I help out are doing fine. Allthough the memory of one of them is getting worse. He forgets a lot, and fast. He tells me the same stories over and over again. Somtimes within a coouple of hours. My parents and MIL are doing just fine! :-D How was DG? Did you win? Wow!! 88?!! Older people get ill so much easier then us! Their immune system is not functioning as well any more. Must be a great relief to know there are people that keep an out on her where she lives!! Helped out at my parents place this morning, and got caught in a rain shower. Brrrr, my trouwsers are still a bit wet. Feels a bit cold. I'm definitely going to sent some of those rain clouds your way ;-D Have a happy Wednesday sweetheart!!!

That Tuck!! Rascal. As I wrote him, I got a bad cat bite that got horribly infected, complete with some lovely yellow pus. Got the antibiotics and then the booster because I have no idea when I'd last had a tetanus shot.

Yes, I expect he will have some fights to prove he is sill the dominant tomcats his opponents knew. There's a proverb: an injured lion (or tiger) is more dangerous than a healthy one. Same thing with Rasputin. I saw him expeling another cat from the animal shelter's compound (the door was open). And he had a fight with Olaf. When I came there the fight was over but Rasputin had some of Olaf's fur in his mouth. And yesterday when Rasputin was at the vet's I had the chance to pet other cats. For example Puschel and Olaf came to me and jumped on my lap (not at the same time).

Whew...every game against the Nats was a nail biter. It's not going to get any easier as we move on to the St. Louis Cardinals. That doesn't start until Saturday so we can rest up a bit. We're supposed to stay high 80s to low 90s for a few more days. Low 80s is the outside edge of my preference. I could live my life in the 60s and be very happy. Have you identified a new favorite DG course? How many do you have fairly close by? Once the needles are dispatched do you think you'll be shifting into an off season mode with no projects? Or as close to no projects as you get? Maybe it becomes planning season for next year...

Well, it is coming together, slowly and hesitantly, but I'm hoping once the VA gets everything diagnosed and a treatment plan can be coordinated, that maybe they can help me out. Glad to hear about Bend, I'm hooked on living here in the Willamette Valley, the drive over to Central Oregon right now is a bit too draining for me, but I keep hoping to get out that way and visit several friends and do some railroad photography. But if something went wrong, I'd be far away from any help I'd need. For now, I keep my driving radius within about an hour-and-a-half radius, with only a few exceptions, even for SCA I want to attend. There are a couple of places I's even be willing to travel by train to visit, it's just the lack of viable(and affordable) ground transport options once I would arrive. Lots of dreams and plans, they just have to wait until I am healthy enough to be able to do them.

Yeah, I think now it's getting better day by day. +++ That's typical for him to stand his ground. I've never seen him running away from other tomcats. In case of a draw he went away slowly and watching his opponent doing the same. I know the way he fights so I expected fight injuries at the head, belly, upper front legs, nose or ears. I've seen some scratches on his ears and nose in the past.

We saw him limp for some days. At first we thought he stepped into glass or something like that with his left front paw. But the vet found out it must been an injury from a fight that didn't heal well. That was a surprise for me, because the left front paw is not an usual place for a fight injury. Another tomcat must have bitten him there when Rasputin tried to hit his opponent with this paw. They said he will come back to the shelter today. He had to stay there Monday and Tuesday.

The training is going pretty well and they do seem eager to learn, though we had a lot of computer issues today when they got their logins, and things wouldn't work properly. They were able to fix it for two out of three after about an hour on the phone with IT, and the other one should be fixed tomorrow hopefully. I do hope the training period passes by quickly. It's so hard to get what I need to in just an hour, and I have a lot more people asking questions in that time too. I'm glad you didn't lose your files and hope none of them were damaged by malware. How was your day? Mine was alright but busy. Had errands to run after work too, so that made it seem even busier. Have a great evening and Wednesday :)

It's 91 right now. We've been safely inside in the AC since our walkies. Did you hear from your friend yet? Is there a totally clear site in your near future? Could you stand a bare space or will you immediately have to fill it up with something purdiful? How hot was it there today? How many fishies did Bryan bring home?

Work is going fine, better than in the past. So crazed pressure is off. Or I'm just getting used to it. Yep, rain coming, hope not more than an inch or so. Lots of Hurricanes on the west coast this year. I'm never in any danger (I did just knock on wood) You enjoy all the hoopla around your life. Admit it. :) ani.
