Thanks for the grats! And yes, my Easter was quite nice, though I felt a bit under the weather. Had a bit of a stomack ache. But I got to finish a couple pull tab things for the spring exhibit. That was from last Thursday till Sunday showing all manner of things peeps crafted, built etc at the local adult education center..
Amen on the Paws safety front. I'm no fan of twisters. That does sound like you're back to your old routine again. You were turning in about the time I was getting up. Today has been different as I went to school this morning to help the kids get squared away for a series of tests they're taking this week. My teacher friend isn't on good terms with technology and wanted me there to help out. I did a quick training session with the principal this morning and then helped in the classroom. It actually went pretty smoothly but it helped to have an extra adult on hand to help some of the kids. They'll be testing all week but she only needed me today so I'm off for the rest of the week. I took Becky for another walk after school and then I mowed the lawns. That's as much as I wanted to accomplish today so I'm putting my feet up. Was it pine needles, fence prep or both that garnered your attention today?
When I heard how close it was to Little Rock I could just imagine Faux and family huddled in the tub...I REALLY wish everyone had shelters on their property or at least cement houses but I understand it isn't always possible depending on their land.My little girls and I experienced a tornado when we lived in Alberta many years ago. Sudden complete darkness in the middle of the day is very scary!!
Well I am happy to report that youngest g'son does not have VSD. He is having a premature beats and has a murmur that the peds cardiologist believes to be benign. It will be watched and checked periodically though.
Thanks so much Syl!!! I am madly trying to remember where everyone lives...happens everytime there is deadly weather. What would we do without Faux and Wally?! That was quite the storm to survive, even 10 min away. They must have heard it and felt the winds and not had a clue which way it would go. FREAKY! Thanks again!! You're a Darlin' and I have to head out for a bit so it's good to know that before I go!!
I'll be asking about the cat cafes when I get there since I have a free day at the start. The closet one looks to be about 4 km from my hotel - a bit far to walk in Tokyo...but I'll be keeping an eye out. There's a ancient garden on the grounds of the hotel (which was in the Bond film You Only Live Twice) and apparently there are tons of cats there.....I may yet spend the day there cat-watching :D **hedbonks**
Thank you! :) I just now sent it. Internet sketchy due to weather. Will email soon about health stuff (I'm sure you can hardly wait, LOL). Did you get my 'no vsd' email? Glad you and Bryan are feeling better. ~hugs

Thank you! I was surprised that it got an FP because for the "story" ones, i usually don't put it forward for voting, since the general population wouldn't get what is going on. Must have forgotten to un-tick the box this time! Hope all is well with you.
