Hi Syl, finally figuring out how to use this tablet to get cheezed. Auto correct & predictive text are gonna kill me. Doing well as can be expected. They're talking about discharging me this week. Thanks for the card and all the prayers and good wishes.

Is it painful? ;) Hugs back, see you when we see you. Good luck on your trip, especially with bd.

Wow, that's a lot of Cirque shows to choose from. I hope you find a good one to see. I'm glad they got the fire taken care of. I hope they catch the person who caused it. It's easy to forget to put sunscreen on. Nothing seems to have been done about the slacker son, but at least I told my manager. She said she didn't know what to do, and I understand. She was going to move him upstairs, but so far she hasn't. I think they were going just to visit, and to see their granddaughter's dance recital, but they did mention they would also be looking for somewhere to stay. We start our part of kitteh duty tomorrow, so I'll have to wake up earlier this week. Sounds like you you had a busy week. I hope you have a safe and fun trip. Can't wait to see your pictures and hear all about it :)

Yup. It's bought and I move in July 2nd. My house is on the market and had 8 showings in a week...which is great. I didn't know you had a 18 year young kitteh! I think my cat's vision is going. She walked by my sister's (visiting) dog yesterday and didn't even notice it (she's terrified of other animals)....then she seemed to notice this brown lump...moved over to sniff it and sniffed dog! Then she hissed and ran. LOL **hedbonks** :D

Hey Syl. Thanks for faving my black cats yourself and at Black Friday. I noted that one of them either didn't get a fave at BF or it didn't stick. It was this one: http://cheezburger.com/8221806592 ++ Hope you're enjoying your RVing! Last I heard the fire was 55% contained, but haven't heard anything at all since, so... maybe it's pretty much over? *crosses fingers and everything else*

Thanks for the congrats Hun - and for the advance ones too lol! They sent her back to the local hospital yesterday - she's much happier to be there and they are continuing the treatment started at the Gold Coast hospital. Not sure when she can come home, but probably not before Tuesday... She sends her love and hugs to all her friends on Cheeze. I took the opportunity while visiting her up the coast to negotiate a killer deal on a new car (they're all offering end of financial year bonuses at the moment) and I'll be picking that up a couple of days after we settle on the house. What fun - haven't had a really new car since 1989, when I left my Govt job!

hope your weekend is turning out to be all you hoped for :-) funny thing you should bring up an ice pack. The hospital sent one home with me that can be hot or cold! I've never seen them give that away before and was quite impressed :-) talk to you when you get home

Nope, hasn't got the goggie visit yet although friend BD went yesterday and AOCH had two of his Native Son buddies there who stayed well into the night. I have his current room number but he's probably not going to be there much longer. I've been waiting to send him any kind of card until he settles into the extended care facility. They're looking at one in SLO. No word yet on when he'll move there. He has been getting cards etc. sent to his home address if you want to send there. They're just delivered every so often instead of direct. I think it's fun for him to get things through the hospital's mail call. Either way he's grateful that folks are thinking of him. I'll talk to him sometime today and will ask which he prefers. :)

Thanx lots for alla congrats! I hope all of you have a great trip. Please share photos with us in your marvelous comix later. It's marvelous that you will be meeting up with Dave and Becky and his folks. School is finished for the semester, but the work continues to get all new lesson units together for the new text books. I also must get all the belated spring cleaning finished before June 30, the day of the knee replacement. I definitely will finish that, but I may have to carry over school work into July because it is taking even longer than I anticipated. I had told myself I would take one day and do nothing at all except for cat boxes and feeding, but that isn't going to happen--no time. I have to go back to work on August 6, and that isn't all that far away. I just hope Hubcat will moving decently by then and is allowed to drive. I can't miss time at the beginning of a new semester (don't mean it's not allowed--I need to be there to get things on the right track). Have a safe trip. Bon voyage.
