GiggLoL, I don't know *any* German but I knew you grew up in Germany and so I did an internet translation so that peeps couldn't ED. I'm kinda shy and private but I wanted to let you know that I have a berry berry gud reezun for not participating. :o)
Thank you! One should probably admit that one's own LOL made them laugh after they have made it, but this one did make me laugh. It is rare that I laugh at my own LOLS, since I am so accustomed to finding other submissions are often funnier than my own, but for some reason this one made me giggle.
thk u sooo much...Wallaby's vet visited yesterday for his weight check (I failed ...he gained 2 more lbs and is now officially on a diet... 2 &1/4 cans a day and I've been giving him way too much dry food) She wants me to put a few pieces in little ramekin dishes around the house for him to "hunt" for....not a happy thought for a NYC apartment where one wants to discourage any random hunting by other critters...also needed her to address some stubborn mats that I was unable to remove from his coat....I swear I felt like the worst cat mom ever....she did enlighten me that I should be using a comb as primary grooming tool and brush as a finisher and simply because he likes it. I just feel so inadequate. On the humor side, the cat litter manufacturers have all decided that they are only going to sell 20,40 & larger size litter jugs...(I had been ordering 7lb jugs that I could pick up) anyway when Amazon's supplier couldn't get what I ordered they sent me 4 of the 20lb jugs...that I cannot lift without risking body parts...they are issuing a refund and suggest I donate to our shelter....they seem to be missing the "I cannot LIFT them part" Purina that heaven just launched a new LITE Weight 8.5 lb litter that thankfully Wallaby approved. Wag.com took pity on me and over nighted 4 jugs of the stuff.
Thanks for checking on me my friend, I'll try to send an email tomorrow about dogs and stuff. Stopped by just for a few minutes here and was going to try to catch up a little but now I'm not feeling so great so it is off to bed with me. Hope all is well with you and yours. ~hugs
It's amazing how much can get done quickly once some momentum gets built. It's often just a matter of starting for me. I'd love to claim it was some high minded notion of coming back to a clean home but it's really more a matter that Mom will be here tomorrow. I'm not inclined to be terribly flexible if we hear from my niece at the last minute. I won't go out of my way to be a jerk and make a point but I'm not going to bend over backwards either. The shopping trip came together well but the lead up to shopping was frustrating. I get in the door and am all business. I want to get to what do we want, what do we have and what do we need. Mom had to discuss the funeral they went to this morning, who was there, the flower arrangements, how many priests were on the altar, all the ailments that people are suffering from and how they looked...sigh. It's the stuff that's important to her and I sat through it fairly patiently. When we finally got into shopping prep. even yes/no questions took a very circuitous route to a response...and it didn't always answer the question asked. After planning for over a year it's finally upon us. It's kinda hard to believe. I can't imagine it was much of a surprise to you that Bryan got stalled looking at fishing stuff, nor was it much of a surprise for him that you found some treasures of your own.
