Thanks! We have some cats at the railroad site. Very shy. Been around for a month or so. Mostly likely someone dumped them in the field. They aren't kittens but I don't think they are full grown. Between winter and coyotes I doubt they will be around much longer.

I was saddened for the pain of your loss of Shasta. What a fine life Shasta had; I know the heart loss and the warmth of memories will come all mixed together at poignant and nostalgic moments.

Duplicating JCBC answer: lost touch with RenaissanceWoman 2-3 years ago just as things were looking up for her; no clue why. Chris10a favorited a few gatos lols, with an eye to doing them slowly.

I think I may know what the CD is. I remember they announced on FB that they were making their very first album for sale for the first time in the US soon. I think that might be it. I couldn't find the post, but I'm pretty sure that's it. You're right that I'm probably going to have more days like Monday, and that I am going to have to separate myself. There were fewer new trainees than I had been told last night, which was good. There are four, but I had been told seven. I was going crazy to try to get everything ready by the time they showed up. The replacement trainer has been found, and he's sitting in, so I'm hoping that I'll be done training soon. I may have to train a few others here and there, and I'll have to teach him the other states. What errands did you do? How was your day? Mine was alright, but hectic. Have a great evening and Thursday :)

Thank you much for the open-ended grats. My sympathy goes out to you for your loss. I'm sure Shasta couldn't have asked for a better life.

It is National Cat Day. Best day to commemorate in the nation, for sure. Thanks for the lols. Annie

I'll have to look in on the contest later...busy to do list day here...going well though. All things considered I'm not unhappy with where Dad is at right now. He can function on a day to day basis without too much trouble since Mom is here and helping. If that were to change then I'd have to really step in. That's okay though.

Finally found out what purpose the bottle of Gallo Cabernet Sauvignon serves in the planter: water conservation. Stick the neck in the soil, it empties until the soil is saturated, then stops; thereafter it continues to gradually water the plant until the bottle is empty. The bottle choice was a coincidence.
