Thanks for the faving. One usually thinks of such cats as "male", oddly. i almost paired her off with BUB but it would have been one of those same sex fings. NOT that they would have minded and I shure wouldn't!!
I'd just as soon share more sun. It's going to be in the 90s here tomorrow. My typical "have all work done by noon" deadline will be moved up to 10am. I will be raising sloth to an art form tomorrow. It was fun to watch both Mom and Dad yesterday after out group sessions wrapped up. The folks in our group wanted to see Dad's stuff so they all crowded around and started asking him and Mom questions. Then the stories started pouring out with each of them make minor corrections or amplifications to various points of the others story. It was pretty cute. I'll bet Bryan has learned to balance eye rolls with careful attention when his mom starts one of those stories. Dental visits are no fun. I hope it's quick and painless for you. I've never grown onions before so I wasn't clear on what new shoots would look like so I took a wait and see approach with the greenery popping though. I figured they were weeds but wasn't positive. Just this morning I saw some that were clearly onions though so I could clean up a bit. I'm going to have to wait until after next week to plant my canteloup as we may have some night back down into the 40s. That seems odd on the heels of the 90s we'll see. Is it iceberg lettuce you plant or some other variety. I've never grown lettuce. I remember helping Mom with some radishes when I was a kid. I'm just glad the thyme plant I put in a few weeks ago is doing so well. I had one die on me a couple years ago but wanted to try again as it sure would be nice to be able to grab fresh thyme out of the garden. There are a number of recipes I make that use fresh thyme and I hate to buy it at the store.
I was too lazy to pick up the remote and ended up watching Seattle news last night and all the talk about impending Mayday doom. They interviewed a couple, who are anarchists, that weren't there for rioting last time but where held in jail longer than anyone associated with the event until they gave up names of people who they thought might be involved. 5 months in jail.
I'm almost always up when the birds start chirping. I love it! Our resident mockingbird has set up shop and is running through his repertoire to attract a mate. This time of year the woodpeckers like to "drill" on the loudest things they can find to impress the ladies and they often pound on our aluminum ladder. Now that's one bird call I could do without! And then you can hear all the babies yapping for food. Blue Jays win the award for loudest and most obnoxious there. Your spring "meadow" sounds really pretty! We don't get too many wildflowers here but my sister's farm is incredible in the spring. Wup, there's the rain! Oh, thanks for the fav of Buffalo! It always gibs me the warm fuzzies when someone sez they like one of my lols, especially since they so rarely get on the VPs. =)
