Right, sorry about that, but didn't get many details, don't even know when Misfit passed on. Shane said Misfit was 20 or 21, died in his sleep of natural causes, peacefully. Surviving kitty Queenie is 15 and misses him something awful. They've been giving her extra stroking; she stays very close to them when they are home. That was about it.

The gum thing hasn't been painful. It's more annoying than anything else. I'm just tired of dealing with it. I might have chosen a different verb rather than exploded when talking about food trucks cooking with gas but it's certainly expressive. I can see where scoring the ideal location could make all the difference in the world. The nature of food trucks really has changed though I haven't eaten off of one in about twenty years. Burgers, chips and shrubbery...could be a restaurant name. That was nice of you to go all liquids with Bryan. I'm sure he appreciated that.

There's a low grade infection in the gum and the dentist now thinks that I need to see a periodontist to best resolve it. I'll see him on Thursday morning. Oh joy. I don't think it was a block party. I'm leaning towards them owning maybe a couple food trucks. That's the only thing I can think of. Thank ceiling cat that your son came through with a BBQ on Wednesday. You'd have gone more than two days in a row without a get-together. We can't have that!

You started that note with "popping in" and I was going to comment "that's what the doctor said". I'm glad it went well and no more thought need be given to it. That's awesome that Velvet and MIL are enjoying domestic bliss. She's happy...Velvet is happy and you have one less thing to worry about. Yippee! Instead you get to deal with the courthouse...sigh. Are you lake-bound again this weekend? Are you back on Monday? I can imagine how thrilled you were with the drive on McKenzie path. I'm glad the view offered some recompense for your stress. Glad you liked the sleep position LOL. It's been a struggle to capture that pose well, which is odd since she assumes it so often. She's such a nutty girl.

Yes, the PT is home care too for a month. If he does well enough, he will be finished with therapy by then. If the surgeon thinks he needs more, we have two excellent physical therapy places here in the sticks, and he will be able to drive himself by then. The way he's going, I don't think he will need more therapy though unless some setback occurs.

Thanks for the whiz-gratz, and for readin the blog. Yep. Weegee won't be talked into writing for it. Yet. Stay tooned. She may someday be convinced to tell her side of the story. And the lol I sent was announcing that my first book was free as an ebook for a few days. I took it down after some meanies downthumbed and called me "grossly self-promotional" for not charging any dollars for my kitty book. Huh. Anyways, I caved to the baddies and removed the lol. Oh, and my brothers didn't really know any of my classmates other than a few close pals. I never dated until Pat, so no -- no following me around on dates.I went out with a gang of kids that sometimes included boys, but Pat was my first boyfriend.Good thing I chose wisely my first time!

Thanks for handling pk lol and passing on lol to TB. You're welcome re kittymac - your birthday lol for her is tres funny! Thanks also for faves and compliment on Shakespeare series. Greencliff's Featured User interview inspired me, where he said he likes both Shakespeare and Gary Larsen. Had me thinking, hm, "The Far Side Of Shakespeare." hm... ED Bryan did well, hurray! Give that man some ice cream.

Aww...thanks, I think so, but she is my little girl so I'm a tad bit biased. Yep, hate that insurance companies run the care rather than the well-being of the patient. Glad Bryan is doing so well too. Yes, I'll like a little moderation in the temps n' humidity round these parts.

Hubcat came home three days after the surgery and so far has been doing just great. The walker is gone, and he's using one cane. The therapist says that will go too in a couple of weeks. Having one good leg has made a world of difference. (We are having home care help from a nurse--due to his being on a blood thinner--and a physical therapist for a month.)

We hit 105.26F (40.7C) yesterday. Yikes! Molly gave me a grandpa cup just to mess with me. She wasn't selling it 100% so I wasn't 100% sure so I went with I have no problem with being a grandpa, just don't ever ever get married. I might have some issues around marriage hehe. I posted the mug pic on Facebook which got peoples tongues wagging. I guess her mom blitz texted and called her and Molly ignored all. Funny stuff. Have fun camping!
