You must be psychic. I was thinking about you the other day. :-) I'm doing okay, more or less. Working like a dog. Looking forward to the end of October. Got family coming down for my youngest nephew's wedding. My niece, her husband, and my great-nephew will be staying with us for a week. And I'll be a great-uncle again sometime in February 'cause she's pregnant again. Other than that, not much going on here. How have you been, besides busy that is?
The dating technique still works for the older lols in IE (tho I can't get it to work in Chrome). The 'how to' lol is in a folder in my favourites if you want to try it again - basically just right click, view source and go to line 31... New house is keeping me on my toes. I'll be finishing painting the granny flat this week, after which it's move in the furniture and utensils and advertise for a tenant. Phew!... Life has been made difficult for the last week because we have had a 'tropical low' off the coast, which is the weather man's way of saying 'not really a cyclone'... We got about 11 inches of torrential rain and gale force winds and are partially flooded in - that's not a problem tho. The storms are supposed to dissipate today, after which back to spring sunshine. As to the scifi board I generally use the lolbuilder for demotivational stuff - I don't bother making real scifi lols any more. I can only think that no one else does either and that's why a bunch of old fps have resurfaced... Cheers - David
:) Trying to keep faith... but it is hard. INcome has improved slightly, except this week is the paycheck with only 80 hours (usually we have 88hrs/paycheck) so this is going to get ugly. ANYway... I am glad to hear you had a good summer, The concerts went well, I think. $:) Two out of three were inside because of weather (if it rains within 48 hours of the concert we have to be indoors- our outdoor venue turns into a soupbowl).
That Squee was absolutely beautiful was never in doubt. So long as he's happy and healthy it's all good anyway. Hmmm...I've never added brown sugar and paprika to steak. I actually prefer my steaks charred rare. I use a screaming hot fire and get a good sear on the outside but leave the interior very rare. That's probably not too different from what you look for. I've spent the morning working on cheat sheets for the trip. That mile by mile guide is awesome. I'm breaking it out by each section of road on a one page cheat sheet. One side has an overview of what we'll see and then I break into two columns so I can do mileage and point of interest on the left and then reverse the mileage and POI in the other column so I have it for each direction. I just need to reset the odometer each time I hit a way station. On the back I hand draw a map with POIs, mountains and likely wildlife sightings. I'm finding it really valuable in guesstimating where we'll want to spend our time. You need a ICHC day and it's better to take shelter from the heat and leave any yard stuff you want to play with for cooler days.
