I knew taxes weren't going to be a problem. I plan pretty carefully and it took me all of an hour to do them and get them filed. There were no surprises. It has been an interesting Spring so far across the country. I'm anxious to get started with the planting but waiting a couple of weeks won't hurt me any. I'm not surprised that they won't set up new accounts by email. There was a day when we would set up accounts on one signature and restrict the activity until complete applications and signature cards were returned. With so many issues with identity theft, I appreciate the extra caution on establishing new accounts. There wasn't that much happening with the memory clinic meetings today. There's a time when we could benefit from some support but things are pretty calm at the moment. We've already addressed the concerns that are being raised in the meetings. The meetings seem to have a negative effect at this point as it really only serves to remind Dad that he's dealing with this. We may get exposed to things we haven't already prepared for so I'm still keeping an open mind but so far I'd rather we just turned up the radio and ignored the slight engine noise coming from under the hood.

Paper stuff never seems to end. You are making good progress and there will ultimately be an end to that landslide of paper. I don't suppose you've heard from dipwad on an estate account yet... I still hold out hope that when all is said and done, he'll come through. Yesterday I did my taxes and got started on cleaning the kitchen. There was no progress on the kitchen front but I lost no ground either. I was up at the folks place today. We had more sessions over at the memory clinic and then I fixed some leaks in their sprinkler system when we got home. Mom and I paired up to fix dinner. I just got home a short time ago and can now launch into messages and some relaxing. It was another good productive day. My seed planting plans are on hold for an extended period. We're going to be cool over the weekend and I even saw an overnight low in the thirties in the next ten days. That's unheard of for us. I'll just have to leave that fun activity for later. Congrats on having a full day at home. That doesn't happen very often.

I'm glad your Mariners won their home opener. Hopefully they'll have a good year. Do you watch some games on tv? I try to, but it's hard now since most games are over when I get home. Carbonera sounds really good. I'll have to try it someday. My favorite Italian foods are chicken parmesean, lasagna, and pizza. No plans for vacation time yet. I'm not exactly sure when I'll take it, or if I'll take it all at once or spread it out. Most likely I'll just stay here and relax. The weather here today wasn't very nice, but it's supposed to be warmer in a couple of days. I hope it will be alright when we go to the zoo tomorrow morning before work. We need rain badly. It is very dry, and we've been in a drought for a few years now. We probably won't have any until monsoon season later this summer. Have a great evening and Wednesday :)

Thanks for the link. I never knew that a cat could last more than a few days without food (wonder if that one had bugs for snacks?). That was an amazingly quick rescue, especially when you see how terrified that cat was.

I thought they snared him at first, didn't notice that they hooked him. Makes it an even scarier video.
