And that's no joke. A cat will actually wake up from a sound sleep JUST for the sole purpose of darting between your legs as you walk. It's purrverse is what it is! ;)

Yeah, it sounds like Harvin was quite the distraction. THis will cause them to focus on Beast Mode again which has been highly successful for them so I wouldn't feel too badly. It's just a trade that didn't work out at all. That's the worst part but maybe acknowledging the mistake and dealing with it is best...usually is. I usually cook my short ribs in beef broth with a slew of onions and then serve it over rice. Your method sounds darned good too. I take it that was supposed to be 1/2 cup of bbq sauce rather than 12 cups, right? The dough on my pizza is perhaps the best part. After the first rise you roll it out into a big rectangle and then spread a cube of room temp butter all over it and roll it up, flatten it out into a 6x18 rectangle, cut it in half and fold it into thirds before forming it into two balls. Then you let it rise once more before rolling it into circles and lining a 9 inch cake pan with the dough. Put down a layer of mozzarella, some sauce and then top with your favorite goodies. You coat the cake pans in some olive oil before adding the dough so the exterior almost fries yet the rest of he dough gets nice and flaky. It's ridiculously good. Family fun night is a great idea and I wouldn't expect anything less from your clan. I really admire your approach to family and friends. I got a phone call from Dad first thing this morning. He's got the TV screwed up and I couldn't trouble shoot it over the phone so I'll run up there in a while and see if I can't get it fixed. We've got the Broncos tomorrow night which should be a real challenge for us. We've been really hurt by injuries so it's time for the second string to step up. I had a pretty adorable wrestling session with Becky last night. She was so playful. Often she squirms and tries to get back on her paws to not be quite so vulnerable but she really rolled with it last night. She's such a love...

Yes, definitely TRN on the trailer park kitties. One of the cats in the video has a clipped ear, so that one is set. Still need to research TRN orgs in the area. Hairy just came visiting & seemed to adopt me. She's getting older, but doesn't seem to be. Will look at possible FRs for AR. Annie

Hi, and thanks for asking! Not all the way settled in, but better every day. You could say that I was involved in a dispute, and this job came out of that. I have lots to catch up with otherwise too, but I'm enjoying some quiet time today!

And you see...that's all we really want. Don't just stick it to us...romance us a bit otherwise we're just going out to get poked in the arm. ;) Thanks my love!!

Didn't see your message yesterday. Yep, bringing food to the trailer park. It's a bandaid on my conscious, until I can think of a solution. I'm seeing more options in the videos I've posted about putting feral cats to work in neighborhoods where vermin is a problem. Love that idea. Still thinking about what to do. The the is, the calls look content & health, mostly. Why do I have a right to bother them? And I don't want to take a chance of a kill shelter getting involved.

Yeah, sadly doxies are prone to weight problems. They did give her a diet plan, and she's not happy about it. I don't blame you for giving up on the kitteh diet plan since everyone else was unhappy. Ted is a grazer too, eating small portions of his kibble throughout the day. I'm glad they had a good crowd for the concert. What kind of t-shirt did you get? I got the one that had the sugar skull on it. I wish I could find more online. I would probably buy one of each. I'm sure you'll be glad to get the yard work done. How did it go for your MIL at the doctor's? How did disc golf go? Probably same weekend plans. Not sure where we'll go for dinner yet. Hopefully somewhere good. How was your day? Mine was good but busy again. Have a great evening and Caturday :)

*That awkward moment when the only acceptable photo of yourself is three years old.* Perhaps I'll put a more recent one up and frighten everyone (well it IS almost Hallowe'en.) Thanks for the compliment nonetheless. Such a shame you weren't that drawn to German although I can see how you might have found some of the longer words cumbersome. I'm sure you were drawn to German cakes though - isn't everyone?

Thanks Syl, I've still got aways to go but it seems as if I'm coming along. I too assume they checked the tumor, but these are almost always benign and mine was. As for the scar, the plastic surgeons will recommend me trying the silicone sheeting first anyway so there you go, LOL. Yeah, even when I had the body, I never liked the bikini's. I was a swimmer so tanks were my choice. Now it's more like a gunny sack, ROTFLMAO!
