One sees the cheetah family the most early in the morning or in the evening. The Seahawks looked really good later in the game yesterday, and I hope they can keep that up. I was stunned that the pathetic Washington team almost beat the Niners. I think San Francisco must have overlooked them and had the Seahawks on their minds.

Hidy ho! Typing from the Plague Couch. Got the common cold as I was finishing up in Panama and have been on the couch since I got home! It was a fascinating spot. Best way to get immersed in all things about the Canal. Did four days in Cartagena Columbia too...and holy cow, was it hot! Hoping to get some black friday lolz up. :D

I'm okay as long as I have Family Guy, which is covered by the BBC for now. Not very politically correct, but at least it offends everyone equally! The biopsy results will be in about two weeks, I think. Thanks for caring, and have a great Thanksgiving.

Hi Sylvia, I'm not sure that anyone knows the destination yet, that will be handled by Samaritan's Purse, but in the past I know that some have gone to the Philippines as we have received thank-you notes from some of the children. I often muse that some of them could be going to China - "Hey, Mae Ling, look. This is the stuff we made at the factory last month!" I sent my x-rays to a friend in the artificial joint/repair plate business and he forwarded them around to coworkers and doctors; The general consensus was OMG! and Eeeww! I must agree that I am glad to be with you all, too.

I just had a thought. you know it's never exact but I stepped on the scale with dusty in my arms and I got a number exactly 6 pounds higher than when it's just me on the scale. so dusty is around 6 pounds. of course have been times I tried that and gotten one weight and I go to the vet and get a weight that's 5 pounds different. so who knows.

yup...my thoughts exactly...room at the inn lol, right before Christmas. somebody has to be feeding him , no way he could be that hefty. gotta be like 16-18 pounds. ya ya kitteh, I hear ya, it's all fur *rolls eyes* seriously though, i'm guessing 16-18 pounds. molly is 12. i'm not sure what dusty is because he hasn't been weighed since he was itty bitty and first trip to the vet

She works in the ER so she's well-suited to the fast pace triage, stabilize and hand them off type of work. It's more transactional than relationship based like it would be in a ward. Biscotti certainly is more involved than drop cookies. I've never done biscotti. The original plan was for me to make Cream Puffs with little Ashley on Thursday...we'll see what happens to that plan when we hear from Kimberly.

I hope DG works out. I'd hate to think that you'd have a season where there was no DG at all. Yeah, the NFC is totally up in the air with plenty of quality teams having a legitimate shot at the playoffs. With as many times and the Niners and Seahawks and Cardinals face each other over the next few weeks our division should become clear. Do you have all your recipes lined up or are you still easing your way into the morning? Sigh...on the niece. She really is a remarkable young with many qualities to admire but that inability to look beyond herself really makes things tough. and to think she's a nurse...usually they're some of the most caring people you'd ever want to meet.

Really! Your arms must be mighty sore today! Not to mention your throat! =) At least I'll get to watch the big match-up on T-day. Chuck is still at deer camp, so I was on my own yesterday. It was nice to get out and do something. Had to give Elf an extra little bowl of gushy foods when I got home tho, as he was not happy when he woke up and found himself alone and let me know about it when I got home. Can you say Spoiled Rotten? We'll make the playoffs in the one league, but doubt if we will in poor Chuck's league. Poor baby. I totally agree about BD's niece. That's just downright rude, especially for T-day! It's hard to believe she's actually a member of that family, they're all such great people. Must be the gray sheep. I'm sure they don't have any black ones. LOL!

Hey girl! So all of the gkids are safe and sound? ;-D I bet you and Brian did a great job 'babysitting'. Awww, the cats really missed you!!! Medication is working great!! I feel all better now. They do the same over here in nursing home's and assited living. They have cats, dogs, and sometimes even birds too. We have a farm nearby when handicapt people go for therapy. They get to ride horses. I did buy lights for the two tree's :-) Multi color lights, with different settings. So we can choose if we want them to blink or just shine. We don't buy Christmas prezzies at all. We don't really celebrate Chritmas. We did have a nice weekend. We visited my schoolfriend and her family. They adopted a new family member... a puppy!! So cute. A Stabijhoun I think you call it ( http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stabij ) Did you continue having a nice quiet weekend? Still just hanging around and enjoying some easy time? Did you get any more snow? Temps are around freezing in the morning here, but it still warms up during the day. Today is a very ordinary Monday. Sending you a few oliebollen (deep-fried solid doughnut). We eat those during this time of year with lots of sugar powder. XOXO

I got Shammy out of a bad situation in Nov 2005 when he was two and a half. Took almost a year for his true self to begin to appear. He is a pedigreed Maine Coon and as sweet and dear as the breed is known for.
