I couldn't do karaoke Sound of Music. I don't think I have ever watched The Sound of Music, I guess that makes it a Christmas tradition for me ;-) I had a nap and missed the beast mode run. At the beginning of the season we where scared they would even make the playoffs. This Cuba thing will be interesting to watch. There definitely will be cries of America ruining it by Cubans as well as tourist from the rest of the world. Interviews I have heard from some Cuban people are saying they are skeptical that this will even go through. I guess they have heard it before and nothing changed.
Luckely we're not much home at Christmas, so we don't have do a lot of grocery shopping. Most of it we did this weekend. And a few more fresh stuffs I'll get Wednesday morning. I think I may fall asleep watching tv this evening ;-D Good luck getting ready for Christmas!!! I hope you'll have a fantastic time!!! With a lot of great food and drinks, and fantastic company!!! Enjoy yourself sweetheart!!! *lots of love*
Hi dere! How's your Christmas advancing? Mine's still at the early stages, feels like. I have bought just about all the things I'll cook, but need to clean the place and wrap a few presents. Tomorrow I'll bake the ham. We'll have Christmas Eve dinner at my brother's and his family (with gifts, no Santa, though). I'll make Christmas Day dindin for us all (with my other brother sharing the costs). - I found I needed something to lighten the Christmas advancing yesterday. Are you familiar with the 'This is Jinsy' tv-series? Had to make a couple lols of the hilarious songs. The links are in the comments. Oh. Didn't realise, both have 'hair' innit: http://cheezburger.com/8406909952 and http://cheezburger.com/8406918912
Wow! 88 is very old! And I agree. Older people shout enjoy whats left of their lives. That older generation had to work longer and harder then we know or realize. I think old people earned that right!! The oldies I take care of are doing fine. They all are a bit forgetful, but thats normal. My mother Always says: when you get older, many things get less, or worse. Except for forgetting. That get much better!! ;-D The man of the couple I help on Mondays turned 89 last Saturday. He still does a lot of gardening, and sings in church, and he excercises too!! Plays tennis and fitness. Not like the youg folks do ofcourse. Special training and play for elder people. And the widower I help on Mondays is having a bit of a hard time with the sort days. The constant dark brings his spirit down a bit. But today is the sortest day of the year. So the worst is over for him ;-D I bet he'll remind me of that tomorrow!! :-D Troela and Nozem don't like to be brusched. Toet does, but he has lost so much wait and hair with his old age, there's not much to brusch any more :-D Troela is a typical girl! She groomes all the time. André has a realy great boss!!! We never had a bonus like that before!!! Today is a very dark, windy and rainy day over here. And I didn't sleep well last night, because of the wind rushing around the house, and through the tree's. Making a lot of noise. It's a true Moanday ;-D
Yay for Skittles! I did see the bit where Lynch got off the training table and trotted over to get him some - LMAO! I guess they helped, cuz he sure whooped some ass! And next week's game at home against the Rams? PSHH - piece of cake, girlfriend! Dallas has had two cats since I've known her, but they were strays and she fed them outside and never let them in her house, much less took the time to get to know them. I hope Elf changes that and she at least gets to know a little more about them. Yes! I do have running around to do! And I'd better get my butt in the shower and get going! Thanks muchly for the wishes my friend and I hope your Christmas is extra special this year!!
poor defenseless. oh hell, i left out poor defenseless. i am just SO sorry to have done that. i mean, after all, they just pretty much HAD to be - didn't they - to have lost that one big game? to a bunch of see chikkins. oh wait . . . pdx didn't field a team for that or any season. never mind
Oh, you're definitely not alone! There's a little Red Green in all of 'em. They just can't help it. LOL! Those squirrels are a royal pain in the patootie! They're especially bad in the spring, when the newbies strike out on their own. Mom has already introduced them to our balcony feeder and since they're babies they have no fear of humans yet and JUST won't leave it alone! Pretty ingenious solution by Bryan! (I see shades of Red Green there, too!) I hope it works. Ah yeah, your annual New Year's trip! What a nice tradition! Are you going somewhere new this year? I sure hope the weather cooperates. I missed most of the game last night what with Dallas coming over for house-sitting insructions and trying to get a start on my packing, but I watched the highlights first thing this morning. WOW! Wilson was great and that run by Lynch was a thing of beauty!! I see no reason why they wouldn't get home-field advantage and another trip to the Super Bowl!! YEE HAW!
Congrats on the big win yesterday. Your guys looked awfully good. That should have made for a fun evening for you. One more win and it's home field advantage for the duration. We did shift to sloth mode after a shower. I can't say it balanced out as there was more sloth than walkies but at least the line was held on the walkies. We need to do a store run today and make some decisions on Christmas Eve dinner and at some point gifts need to be wrapped. That means the kitchen table needs to be cleaned off and should build the momentum to cleaning the whole kitchen. We'll see if momentum wins out. What are you up to today?
y'know, i think it's a crying shame there are no nfl teams called the rhinos or the emus. or the emOs, either, for that matter. seattle should double up and give us somehing so over the top NO ONE will fell safe playing them
