Carbonara and panninis will always put smiles on faces. I've got boneless, skinless chicken breast and some wild rice for dinner tonight. The best situation would be that all the walking on concrete we dowould be enough to keep Becky's nails short but alas no. Her back nails are always fine. It's just the front ones that need to be clipped. She's supposed to be able to walk silently across the floor but when I hear her nails on the hard wood I know they need attention. A chopped challenge sounds interesting but I'm afraid you'd load me up with Kale and stuff. Are you thinking appetizer, side, main and dessert or some subset thereof?
Hiya Syl! Yeah, I noticed the back-to-back squirrels. And not just you and me but Jennybookseller, too! Hope you're having a nice weekend. I'll try to emayo you sometime this week to catch up. Mark's off work for 3 weeks for retooling and maintenance shut down at his plant. Not sure what all we're doing yet or when, so it'll be hit and miss for a while as to when I'll be here. :D

I was going to say I'll be watching but I'll have been in bed for two hours by the time midnight strikes. I just tested the power of carrots as an incentive with Becky. I decided it was nail trimming day. Usually I do that in the study with the door closed to limit her mobility. It was necessary early on but she's learned to submit as it's generally not too bad and she gets treats for each nail clipped. Today I decided I wanted to do it out back so I had her pop up on the benches I built on the covered patio. I guess the prospect of carrots and a history of things not being too bad got her to go along with it. Sadly I clipped the second to last nail too short and got her quick so there was a drop of blood. That's only the third time that's happened in all the time she's been with me. I try to be very careful but with black nails you just can't see the quick. My caution usually means that I don't trim them short enough but... She squirmed for the last nail after I clipped her quick but she's fine. I think the extra carrot bits at the end convinced her it was worth it.
Sure hope you are tripping over to the FUN places you and Bryan always seem to discover! Shocked to see Georgey Girl has FIP like Spencer. One word of advice on this-get ALL your info from your vet and don't even look in up on the net. That quest for knowledge gave me NOTHING positive and MANY sleepless nights filled with lots and lots of tears! And here he is four years later (Can it really be that long??!!! ) and he is spoiled, fat and sassy! He is also the kindest cat I have ever had!!! (Wakes me up at LEAST once a week at 3 am vy licking my entire face with that sandpaper tongue, but I just don't have the heart to turn him away....
