PS. My pupils come to my place for the lesson. The traffic here is very unpredictable, so staying at home is better for me. --- My son speaks Japanese OK (at just), but had never learnt how to read or write it. He takes one year Japanese course at the university now. He says he likes it. :)

Finally done editing! Yay! Now to figure out how to make a book cover. Ugh. Had my sis-in-law do it last time, but she's too busy now. I bought the latest Photoshop -- just have to figure out how to use it with the template for the book cover. Still, so glad to have a finished text!

About the colour of Abaya, I think your Bryan is quite right. And apparently darker colours give more protection from UV. So wearing black is good for women's skin...? --- As for the cake, you might like to read this. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/04/03/cat-cake-sweet_n_5078195.html

Yes, Spring is here. My little city is just north of Sumas - if you know that crossing.

Half day off. Back is acting up and things are fairly slow right now at work so I am taking it easy today. First spring in your new home and new garden! I love seeing fresh leaves and buds and all the different shades of green that come with spring : )

Perfectly understandable! Especially the gkids part. They grow up so fast and go their own ways. I got to spend alot of time with my niece and nephew when they were young and it's made for some of my best memories. And good fodder to laugh about now when I see them!

Well good morning, Sunshine! Yep, kitties do adapt, but there always seems to be at least one little quirky habit you can never break them of! Yep, lots of rain - more this evening. I'm looking forward to Wednesday when it will finally warm up again and I can get to the garden center and finally get some stuff planted. I used to have the annuals planted by this time but our springs have been just too cold and wet the last few years, so as usual I'm behind! SO - the greenhouse is almost done and it's on to flooring and carpet! And then new deck? And then? And then? GAA! I'd have no hair left if I kept a schedule like yours! Did BD send you the T-ball pics? They are SO great!! Boy, I hear ya about the colds! We both had them last year and it was at least 3 weeks before they finally went away! Sez alot for our lifestyle, I suppose!

Wow, seven episodes in one day! It's nice to be able to binge like that on a show you enjoy. It's too bad the colds were part of the motivation. You deserved a rest day after all the greenhouse work on Saturday. You'll have a busy week with more home projects too. It's nice to have the youngsters come by to help with the heavy lifting. This week the kids are off from school so my schedule is pretty much wide open. I will move my day with the folks to tomorrow as they have a phone appointment with Dad's back doctor. That last round of shots didn't give him the relief he got the first time. There are two productive things on my list for the week. One is a must and one is an ought to...I still haven't done my taxes. It will only take a couple hours but I'm just not enthused about it. It's supposed to be in the 80's until Thursday. That's when I ought to tackle the back deck. We'll see if ambition wins out over sloth.

Remember that wild cello duo? A few days ago, they posted their entire concert at the restored Roman Colosseum in Pula, Croatia. Wish I could have been there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sk5zxA9UP2Q

Oops, I forgot to tell you what non-Muslim women wear here in town. Anything you like, I mean the ordinary western clothes, but to avoid some conflicts with the local people covering our shoulders, cleavage and knees. When I was helping my son's class at school (grade 2 time), I had been told not to wear trousers if the crotch part was visible. -- I'm a tutor. Teaching Japanese language to the non-Japanese and English to Japanese children.

If you are not Muslim, you don't need to wear Abaya. http://she9.blogspot.com/2013/01/designer-embroidered-abaya-collection.html --- I think some women in Abaya look quite elegant. I don't have any sets of it though. Maybe someday before leaving here for good... -- As for stuffing a cat into a carrier, Misty and Smokey have broken them twice. On that day I had to wrap the broken carrier with a bath-towel and a suitcase belt. *lol*

Spend yesterday with Alinda. Did some catching up on gossip ;-), had a nice lunch too!! A fun day as usual. I share a lot of Cheez stuff on my FB. And got a lot of nice reaction there for being featured as well. Because of what happened with _C_A_T_ I asked Alinda if ever something were to happen to me, If she'd want to inform my Cheez pals. The thought of not hearing anything from someone, without an explanation, doesn't sit well with me! I'd like to know if something is wrong with one of my friends!! She off course agreed :-D I'm sending you gardening tools, and a garden gnome to use them! So he can help you with the gardening work!! Lots of love an smoochies sweety!!!

MIL had to go back to the hospital last week! The wound from the surgery got infected! Now the cast has been removed, and that wound has to heal first. She's diabetic too, and because of that and her older age, she doesn't heal that fast anymore. I've seen the Comix you made of the Cheezgirls gathering!!! Great Comix!!! Looks like you girls had a lot of fun!!! :-D Fantastic picture's too!!! Weather has been great around here. Today it started raining, which is very welcome for the garden!! It's a bit cooler now too. Cats did spend a lot of time in the enclosure lately :-D That pine cone you sent me is humongous!!!!! We don't see them that huge around here! Maybe you have bigger squirrels?! Hahaha, kidding ;-D
