I'm glad u found it. Knowing when one created an LOL is a handy thing to help find them. I usually don't fave my LOLs unless they make FP just so they aren't hard to find when I do want to fave them to my FP collections. I have to disagree about the newbies however. I have seen some very good LOLs made by peeps who have only been here a few months and have some of them as frens now. ICHC is a transient place as some peeps leave for whatever reason and newer ones pop up to take their place. I go through my frens list every 6 months or so and when I see those that haven't been on for months, I send a msg telling them I am unfriending them but for them to do a FR if they come back. Unknowns are a combo of unregistrered peeps and likely some of the staff. Back in 2009 I made some LOLs without registering - none made FP but some did make voting. Then I dropped it and in May 2010 decided to register.
Thank you for reminding me I can learn the posting date. I had scrolled through 50 pages of my Favorites last night and then quit, which turned out to be LOLs I had favored through mid-December. I went to page 51 and BINGO! That LOL has now been moved to my sub-folder for FP wins... Could have been worse; Nippy said they used one of hers recently that was FIVE YEARS old!... Just proves my theory that they can't find winners among the crop of newbies (all of these winners recently who are "unknown" I 'spect are actually submitted by the staff and they don't want to admit it!), so they have to depend on the old goard- or the mid-goards such as myself!

I do the same. Try opening it from my Faves. U shuld be able to unfave it from there and then refave it to wind up at the beginning of ur LOLs. Fortunately in this State, we're going in the opposite diretion to recognize gay and lesbian marriages and legislation was signed by our Gov to be effectivein Jun. However, here is a group ro several, trying to put a referendum onthe ballot in Nov to repeal it hope they don;t get enough signatures.
Okay, call me an egotist, but when I get an FP I like to move it from my regular favorites file to a file dedicated to FP Winners... used to be real easy; if it was a recent LOL I just had to hit the "move to" buttons. If it was real old, I just clicked the "unlike" button on the FP and then re-hit like, and it would be found at the front of the Favorites... so now there is no "Like/unlike" option... I just spent twenty minutes going through 50 pages for My Favorites and STILL did not find that new FP LOL!... between this and my frustration at having the Nazi mentality of my state (NC) confirmed with the (anti-everyone's marriage but ones done in MY church) Amendment One getting voted in, mebbe now is not the time for me to re-join and start a new anti-Beta boycott... There's more important repealing actions needed closer to home.
It may be old, but it's good - vintage wine and all that :) That's good to hear os u can get out some new stuff - ghosts only stick around so long :)
(I'm still not really back yet, that's actually a very old LOL, but if my ghosts can still make FP, mebbe a return to the site full time will happen soon... thanks for the congratz!)

Hai - JeffCat would probably agree about the T-shirt babe :) Hopefully more borken things will get fixed. So glad u sent a FR to the BC and looking forward to seeing some of ur good stuff when u are ready an get inspired.
Part deux: And believe it or not, I wish they'd make the ads on the sides of the LOLs fully visable- One, because it continues to make the site look amateurish and broken.... and Two, I really love the red headed model in the "Snorg T's" ads, and miss seeing her...... (*blush*)
Okay... they're getting there... and Dolly's informationLOL (hey, still not above coining new Cheese words) sounds contrite enough to mean they're finally listening and maybe even admitting to a little F-ing up... Still need a better way to see "you might also like" LOLs on any one LOLs page like what used to be displayed on the right side, because that's the only way I knew what was out there that was not on my dashboard or on the "Votes" page. I can't promise how soon I join in the fun, but I will send a friend request to the book club... Thanks for the FYI.
Was thinking of u tonight when I was in the Book Club. I don't know if u know of all the features that have come back. Also I know voting totals for ur older LOLs was a concern for u. I did an LOL to explain how to see those now. DollyDally created a My Site specifically for LOLs to explain how the returend features work and I am including that URL. Along with mine for voting totals. I hope it is temporary too, but from what has been happening on the site the last couple of months, I'm afraid PTB have changed hands for the reward of short term capital gains. The FB buy out is so transparent it's sickening. If they were interested in keeping customers, they would have bent over backwards to return what we wanted- Favorites and Voting buttons on the Front Page and creator's names in decent fonts. Instead you can't vote anywhere, and they have blatantly stated all comments on LOLs will only be accepted by using social media--- ICHC WAS our social media!!! I'm only still on here tonight answering dashboard messages because I'm too upset to go the sleep--- ICHC is what used to calm me down so I could go to sleep!
I'm sorry you will be leaving, but I hope only temporarily as you and your humor would surely be missed. I posted something to Echo on the little that I have figured out and was told about the new layout.

Meant to add, as I have posted on a blog previously, it is a symbiotic relationship. We make the LOLs, they give us the venue to display them. without having to pay a dime, join a membershio. So we do need each other. We'll see what they decide in the end. My main complaint is avatar and name size. I really have to squint!
Right now, the only votes u will see on the LOL are ones that were given it while on voting or from the DB. Without the voting feature on FB obviously no feedback on that score. I do wonder if peeps are faving less than they used to. People are funny sometimes, they see something has high votes then they feel very comfortable faving it. Not sure that is making sense? I fave it if I like it, and frankly if it is a fren of mine, no matter what the vote totals. I am hopeful they are taking all the comments into consideration. But yes, in the end they will do what they wish to. It is their site, they have a payroll to meet - this is not a not for profit organization :) Advertising brings in the revenue, not us and most peeps make sure to turn off the ads :) They will do what they feel generates the revenue like all businesses.
Yeah,ur probably right. I vaporized it instead. Empty calories turn into little fat recepticles no doubt :) Can u do me a personal favor? I'm collecting Laundry Baskets as my collectie self indulgence cuz my Lucy LuLu loves them. I have the wicker kind that she naps in (with a warm towel I provide of course), and then uses the outside as a scratching basket :)

I use Windows mail and really haven't had any probs other than last week for a few days. Hey, can I haz all ur Laundry Baskets - better than all ur bases :) My personal indulgance collectie. Think those should have a story behind them. My Lucy LuLu follows me from the laundry room to the bedroom when I put away laundry. She knows I don't like her to jump on the laundry when I am trying to put it away. So she sits on the bed and waits til it's all empty and then jumps in and snuglges in for a nap. Awhile ago I started putting a soft hand towel in for the last few minutes in the dryer to get warm and I put it in the bottom of the basket so when I've put everything away, the warm towel is on the bottom and she jumps in and takes her laundry nap :)
Also the new Animal Capshunz which used to be Just Capshunz.
Hai, I only go to 6 different sites to do LOLs, fave and vote so if ur FPs were on ICHC, Hotdog, SciFi, Histy, Pundit and Animal Memes I likely sent u congrats unless for some reason I missed any because of a lot of family time right now with visiting son and grandkids. I dropped Razzis cuz I added SciFi and I only have so much time!
It seems to be a real erratic and random problem. I had an emayo hang-up for about 4 days and then a big batch came through and I've been getting them regularly now.
