Oh yes, I have used Goggle Chats with ICHC but has been a long time and would need a refresher. WIll look into it, Thank for healing vibes and your friendship. lub and hugz

I'm glad you like that LOL!! You yourself are so good at poetry!!! I'm sorry I couln't find the words... I had to borrow some from someone else! Oeh!! NETFLIX has fantastic shows!! I'm sure there will be plenty for you to watch!! If you feel like chatting sometime, we could do so with Hangouts from Google! You know what they say about laughing! It's good for you. Was that comedy show The Big Bang Theory? It's hillarious!! I'm sure you'd love that one too!!! Hang in there sweetheart!! Sending you loads of good, happy, healing vibes!! *smoochies*

Thanks for that wonderful guote and I so agree I have another anonymous one that I believe in: "Never be afraid of shadows; it only means there is a light shning somewhere." Bryan signed us up for NETFLIX finally as we figure once I start chemo I will have a lot of free time whre Ineed light entertainment. We started a comedy series (I already forgpt the name :) but the first episode was amusing and quirky. The first month is free so there were no great new movies available,

Not one of the best pics I ever took, but here it is: Have a fantastic Sundog!! *hugz*

By Jiskat on Nov 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM

NO!!! THATS FANTASTIC!!!!! LMAO!!!! Thanks so much for this amazing LOL sweetness!!!!! I just had to share that one on FB :-D I don't bother much with FB anymore, but this I had to bother everyone else with ;-) I've looked up Godsmack, and listened to a few songs. I LOVE the music!! But you're right about the lirics here and there. Luckely I don't have 'sensitive' ears! Doesn't sound like your back pain will be all gone any time soon! I'm so sorry!! I hope the shots will do some good this time. And otherwise you can take in some other kind of shots.... as in the liquor kind? ;-) I'm glad you MIL got her wheelchair! She sure doesn't get much social security!! Hope you'll be done with the nessesary paperwork soon to!! I hate that kind of work! I watch Game Of Thrones too!! It's good! But sometimes the dialog is so loooong!! Don't worry, I'm not goning to tell you anything more about GoT. I've seen season 5 too. I really loved Farscpe too!! It had a great sence for humor as well!! I really like that. By the way, that painting is called Hippy Cat. Not Happy. I'll take a picture of it tomorrow. It's dark now. We got a very early birthday present for my dad today. His birthday is December 22nd, but he needs this gift now! We bought him a lamp. The kind that shine's up-wards, and has a seperate small adjustable lamp in the middle of the lamp base. And we got it on sale! Score!!! I'm still giggling over your LOL!!!

I could not resist and can't believe I actually found a pic of woman with a frog on her head LOL

By Sylviag on Nov 6, 2015 at 10:00 PM

ROFLMAO when I read "frog" infested as I know you meant "fog" as generating the frizzies in curly haired peeps. The visual of frogs leaping all over your head messing with your hair was too funny. We went to one of our fave hard rock groups, Godsmack. This was the 3d time we saw them. The first time was just a few years after they started in 98 Love them every time. They played a nie mix of old and new, But their lyrics are often R rated which would turn off people with "sensitive" ears :) Nah, started in Jul and kept getting progressively worse and am making my way through various treatment modalities like steroid shots, Physical therapy and acupuncture but none have provided much relief. Since doc will try one more series of steroid shots before we move on to something else. famiy is good MIL finaly got her electric wheelchair. She had lots of pratie with the loaner so did not need any instructions. In Dec I willhave to put her on state aid as she has almost run out of resoures and only gets $920 in social security and the rent on the assisted living plae i $4,000 a month. A bunch of paperwork but they will not let me turn anything in until she actually runs out of money which willl be in Dec They will then pay for everything except personal care items and any snacks and stuff. Sona nd gkids doing good. Oldest gson started college and is doing pretty good. A lot of homework though which he obviously does not like :) Oh Happy Cat pic sounds cool - take a pic of it and post it s I can see it. I knew you iiked Grimm and we did watch a ew epis when it first started but we always forget when shows are on so forget to watch them as we do not watch much TV as Bryan likes to play his PS4 and I putter on the puter. .We do get whole series on DVD (that counts doesn't it?) when they come out. So our fave now is Game of Thrones. We've watched Seasons 1-4 but Season 5 won't be released until Mar 2016 so I am trying to avoid any spoliers :) . My fave of all time is Farscape. Huh, I realy don;t have a fave actor - male or female.

By Jiskat on Nov 6, 2015 at 6:17 AM

Hi sweety! I'm so sorry you had back problems!! Did you hurt it when you were getting the garden ready for winter? Is it better now? Or do you still need therapy? It can be soooo depressing when you have an annoying, constant ache!!!! Specialy when you can't lay in bed and sleep as well as you are used to. Or sit comphy in a chair!! I hope it feels better!!! What concert are you going to? Have a fantastic time!!! LOL In this very moist frog invested country, someone with curly hair really can't do without a blow dryer!! ;-) Wow, 7.6 cm taken off your hair?!! It grew really long!! I don't think I have 7 cm on my head LOL How is the family doing? Are your kitty's doing ok? Bet they stay in more now too. Mine do, now it getting colder outside! A few weeks ago I back ordered (thats how thats called right?) a painting of a cat a store ran out of. It was on sale, but we got the flyer in to late. It finaly came in. It's called Hippy Cat. A tortoiseshell cat with lots of colorful flowers on it's head. Hope we can pick it up tomorrow. My one absolute fave TV show right now is Grimm. Followed really close by Sleepy Hollow and Supernatural. Whats your absolute favorite show? And favorite of all times? I can't pick one of all times. I would have to go with a few shared first places. But MacGyver is absolutely one of those! Do you have a favorite actor or acress? I really like Nathan Fillion. He has a great sence for humor. Hope your back feels better!! Have a great time at the concert!! *lots of hugz*

By Sylviag on Nov 3, 2015 at 11:26 PM

Hiya dear friend. I ED you and Jadzia to see what you've been doing. Glad to see you and family and kitties OK. Cool your parents use an IPad - so many elders really don't like to deal with IT stuff. Sounds ike you just about have Mr. Spriks settled in. My sympathies on the hairdryer :) I just had a new perm done so I don't have to mess with my hair at all but just wash and comb it through. It had gotten really long and was creeping down my back so had about 3 inches(7.6 cm) taken off. And you are well into the new TV season with your favorite shows. Which one is your absolute, can't miss fave? I've been gone pretty much the past month with a back problem that has been causing me a lot of pain. But now with physical therapy acupuncture and home exercises it is slowly starting to get better and I can spend more time on the puter and am in a better frame of mind to chat with my peeps. Going out of two for a couoel of days for a concert that I had gotten tickets for before my back started acting up but a determined not to miss it as they are one of my very favorie groups Much lubs and hugz

I'm glad your dinner was great!! The food sertenly sounds fantastic!! My favorite meal.... I can't help but to love fast food!!! Got to eat fries once a week!! And I do like potato stew with whatever (like kale) very much too! Uhmmm, I don't really know the names of the flowers. I do love those begonia's, and I love to mix same flowers/plants, but in different colors, in one pot a lot. Norton works great. It's a little more expencive, but it does the job just great!! It's raining over here today, but I'm not complaining!! I've seen the floods you're having in the US on tv!! Horrible!!

By Sylviag on Oct 5, 2015 at 9:53 PM

Thanks! Happy dansen to get an LOLCat FP again. Yah, I think you have a large circle of family and friends. but stickers works good! I wound up making a realy good crock pot meal out of the pork loin Sliced it up, browned in, then put in pot and added bunch of stuff and served it with boiled and buttered potatoes. It really turned out well an will keep the receipe for a nie slow vooked fall and winter meal. What is your favorite meat? We probably eat chicken more than anything else and save beef for a really good steak now and then. When you o flower pots what do you use? I use a of geraniums, peunias, lobelia. million bells and some trailing green stuff. We use Norton also and I just renwed ours. We also use a Malware program. Btween the two of them, they seem tokeep us well protected. smoochies

Woohoo!!! Lolcats HP congratz!!! Wanted me to shred them first? ;-) *cuddlies*

By Jiskat on Oct 4, 2015 at 4:49 AM

Hahaha!!! I have a lot of Christmas cards to sent out. You might have guessed that, considering all the birthday parties I go too ;-D About 60 or so. I gave up on writing them all. Now I just make stickers on the putter. So I'm usualy done in a few hours making those ;-D Do always add a pic of the cats in the background tho!! There are a lot of calendars out for 2016 over here too. But I buy cat related calendars too. And the one's I really like are not for sale yet. They always take a little longer before they are for sale. Hmmm, both cooking/roasting options sound very nice!!! Let me know on what you decited to do?! Oeh! Nice temps! It about F41 in the morning over here, and F59 during the day. Today André is going to get rid of the last flowers in a pot we still have outside. They are bloomed out ;-) All done... looking really sad now. Ah, yes! Daffodils.. your favorite!! They'll look great when springs comes around again!! The plants/veggies in your greenhouse have been doing great, or so I think. You had a lot of fresh foods, didn't you?!! I have to update the putter virus protection (Norton) today. Only have two more days left on this one. Hope you're having a great day and dinner with the family today!!!! Enjoy hun! *hugz*

By Sylviag on Oct 3, 2015 at 7:02 AM

Your Campfire Story is sooo cute! Does IKEA put out coupons :) I really do feel they may make a sequal to Guardians as the first one was way popular beyond their dreams. It is the kind of story line that can certainly fuel several more movies. Eh, lawyers and stuff doesn;t intrigue me either. I like a lot more acton an special effects :) Oh no you absolutely cannot get started on Christmas Cards yet - that is not allowed to be ahead of the game and making the res of us look bad, instead of a last minute mad scamble lik I usualy d :) All the stores here alredy have 2016 calenders. I always get a kitteh related one. TOmorro night have a pork loin but not sue what I am going to do with it, roast it or make something else. I found a great crock pot recipe that I might try. Yesterday cleaned up the greenhouse. Picke dthe lst of the Swiss chard, carrots, cucumbers and tomoatoes. Once it gets cold outsie I won't want to garden anymore. WHen all the flowers have bloomed off I;ll go through and cut them down and I;ll be all ready for winter. Have some more daffodils to plant. Still supposed to be in the high 70s and low 80s this week. Kinda warm for us this time of year lub and hugz

By Jiskat on Oct 2, 2015 at 6:01 AM

I do that too. And on FB too. I liked a lot of shops so I know when they have great offers, or discount stuff!! And yes!! Guardians was fantastic!! I laughed my ass off. Great special effects too. Hope they do make a sequel!! I have Caprica, but never watched it. It's about lawers and stuff, as far as I know. My brother has seen it. It just didn't apeal to me.... yet. Maybe I'll watch it during the 'Christmas break' of other series ;-) I loved Farscape too. It was different from the usual SF shows. Most are like Star Trek, these shows (Farscape, Firefly, Defiance) are not like that at all. I really like Sleepy Hollow and Grimm too. Same here with the insurance and medicare organisations!! When you have to pay, you have to do so in a few weeks. But when they have to pay, or organise something for you, it take's at least a few months!! How nice of that local company to give her a loaner!! Mr. Sprik is still living in his old house. But it's getting very 'empty'. His son started to move some stuff to the new place. So lots of stuff is in boxes now. At both places. It doesn't feel like a real home anymore. He's ready to move all right!! I am helping with sorting stuff at his old house, and cleaning stuff at his new place. OMG!! Pinecone hail!!! Those must be like bombs compared to the acorns over here LOL I have no special weekend plans. Maybe I'll get started on the Christmas cards. Got about 60 to write. Or maybe if the calendars for next year are for sale (the one's I usualy like) I can start filling those out. Don't think there for sale yet. Maybe in two or three weeks. What are you going to prepare for dinner next Sunday? Hope you'll have agreat time with BIL and his son!! :-D

By Sylviag on Oct 1, 2015 at 9:46 PM

Yeah, lots of emails to sort through - 2/3 junk. I let some of them keep sending me stuff because occasionally they will send a good coupon or dollars off a purchse so I am willing to wade through them. Oh yeah, especialy taking a young one like that out to lunch or dinner can be an interesting experience. So just from that part of the family your have three nieces! No wonder there are always birthday parties LOL I did mean "Guardians" I do plan to order "Defiance" from Amazon. I saw that it is by the same producer who did Farscpe and Galactica so I expect a very good series. Also Caprica but I am not familiar with that one - are you? All the kittehs are super spolied and happy - as it should be :) MIL good - still waiting for final approval of her electric wheelchair but the local company has given her a loaner. It takes forever to get approval for those because it is a combinaton of the insurance and Medicare paying for it and anything Medicare (government) is snail pace slow. Is Mr. Spiks in his own house right now? Will you be helping Mr. Spiks pack and move? Is he looking forward to the new place? I hope so because change is sometimes difficut for the elderly. Oh - are your new tres turning color? I do miss that here as it is mostly pines except for some of the new developments where they have planted a variety of grees. Gurlfren, you should try gettinghit by a 6 inch long pinecone!! They are always droppingon our roof with a very loud thunk. When we go camping, even in the summer, gotta have a cup of hot chocky by the fire. In the morning I fix the gkids up and of course a whole lot of whip. ANything panned for the weekend? We're having a quiet one except for BIL and nephew coming for dinner Sun night

By Jiskat on Oct 1, 2015 at 8:42 AM

4 Day's?!! Arg, thats horrible! Did you have a lot of catching up to do after it got fixed? Hmmmm, stop describing the good food!!! Now I'm drooling too!!! LOL Lunch was nice with Ida. She brought her son (5years old) with. Small kid like that is as much fun as he is trouble ;-D B-day party was great! Lots of cake, so no complaints here ;-D My nice (she's the middle one of three) turned 17 years old!! That's a fun age!! Serenity was great!! I'm so glad they made it!! Wish they would haave made more Firefly movies to tie up loose ends!! Farscape!! Yes!! Loved it!!! It was funny too. And I did see the Peacekeeper Wars too!!! Another fantastic tv show that got cancelled to soon!! Defiance is great too. If you like these other two, you will like this one as well!!! Ehm... Master of the Galaxy. Don't know that one. Or did you mean Guardians of the Galaxy. That one was great!! And a lot of fun!!! I'm glad Georgy Girl is doing great again!! How are the other cats doing? And how's the rest of your family doing, like your MIL? Here there all fine! Parents are doing good, And so are the eldery I help out. Mr. Sprik still has to wait a few weeks before he can move. They're renovating the building, and there's a lot of noise. So he waits it out. Should take two or three more weeks. It's getting colder over here. The tree's look fantastic tho!!! And squirrel are collecting food for the winter. Gotta be carfull riding a bike right now, because you can get hit by falling acorns and stuff. They actualy hurt when they hit you!! It's getting cold enough to bring out the hot chocolate again, with the whiped cream off course ;-D

By Sylviag on Sep 30, 2015 at 10:22 PM

Ah, you would be the one when we had big sheet cakes for an office party that would request the corner piece with all the frosting LOL One of my passed lder aunties used to make the best homemade strudel. Roll it out on her table 4 feet (1.2 M) in diameter so thin you could pratially see through it. Then fill it and rool it up into a long roll and coilt around. And the smell when it came out of the oven. I just drooled all over my laptop LOL Did you have a nice lunch with Ida? I see you went to another bdy party :) How ol is your niece? Oh yes, was so glad they put out Serenity a there ere so many loose ends. Did you eer watch the series "FarScape" Loved that one too. They ended aboruptly after 4 seasons and did a 3 hour movie, "The Peacekeper Wars" to end that one. We donot watch any TV series, but if something intriques us we will get the whole seson on DVD and watch it when we want. Once it starts getting colder I'll start dragging BRyan to movies. The lat two we went to were Sci Fi: Jupiter Ascending" and "master of the Gaaxy" That one was so much fun and I hop they do a sequal. Georgy Girl all healed up, halthy and happy. She's my darling "Baby Girl" Sorry for late reply - our ISP messed up something and we were down for 4 days. Hugzzzzz

By Jiskat on Sep 27, 2015 at 7:27 AM

My favorite pastry is the cake with frosting king. The strudel is great too, specialy with warm vanilla saus. My mom turned 73. She's a bit younger then my dad. He's 80. It's been kindda slow on birthday party's lately. I was getting withdrawal symptoms, from not getting any pie's, cake or pastries for a while ;-D You allready had frost?! It's cooler over here, and the leaves are changing colors again. But no frost, or below zero temps at night yet. As soon as that happens, it will kill my last begonia for sure ;-) Wow!! You still have stuff growning in the greenhouse?! Thats great!! Hope they'll grow big and to be delicious!! Yesterday I had lunch with Ida, and my niece's b-day party. They had apple cake, and cheesecake. Yummy!!! How Georgy Girl doing? Is she in pain? Poor thing!! Cats over here are fine. But grumpy though! Because it rains a lot in the fall, over here. And it's colder, so they don't get to go outside that much any more. I did love Firefly!!! It was so funny too!! Did you ever watch the movie Serenity? At least they made that one to get a little closure!! Have you seen any good movies lately? And what are your favorite tv shows? I really love Grimm. Can't wait for the new season to start! Today I'm sorting some computer stuff, like picture's. Are you allmost done getting the garden ready for winter? Have a happy Sundog!!! *smoochies*

By Jiskat on Sep 26, 2015 at 12:47 AM

Hey girl!! Nice to hear from you!!! I'm having kind of a busy day, so I'll chat more with you tomorrow!! Doing some quick puttering right now, before Ida gets here. We're going out for lunch. So TTYL :-D

By Sylviag on Sep 25, 2015 at 7:07 PM

Hey, long time no chat. EDd you and Jadzia. I love Sci Fi but neveer watch the series on TV and like to get the DVD series. Saw you discussing "Defiance" and that sounds right up nyaley when I looked it up and I will order all three seasons I think. And i sure agree on "Firefly" I was so disappointed when they cancelled it. Is Mr. Sprik the older genetleman you help out and you helped him move? I see you had a nice birthday do for your Mom. A pastry party sounds yummy. What is your fve kind? I love a good appel strudel. How old is she? And a niece's birthday party. Girlfriend, you go to more birthday parties than anyone I know LOL Is it turning into Fall there? We stillhave warm sunny days but it is getting cooler at night. We hd one frost that killed my zuchinni plant i had in a big pot outdoors. Still have stuf in th greenhouse. A puled the tomatoe plants but my cucumber plats are still ding great. Any pans this weekend? We're just ging to putter around the house and yard. Once it gets cold, I don't much work outside. How re the kittehs? Our Georgy Girl had dental work yeterday and the vet had to pul one tooth before it got bad and infected but the rest are OK

By Jiskat on Sep 1, 2015 at 6:54 AM

I'd never heard of a salmon pancake before either. But Henk (my neighbor) told me he had one the other day. And he said it was really good! So I tried one, and it was really good!! Sometimes weird combo's are the best. Like PB and J. Or strawberries with chocolade. Love that sandwith with tomatoes too!! Eat it often. You and I know good food, right ;-D

By Sylviag on Aug 31, 2015 at 8:06 AM

It was wonderful. No party - just a lovely day and evening at home. We had just had a large party for friends the weekend before sowas all partied out. Oh yes, crcker with creams cheese and cucumber! I also like bread and butter with sliced garden tomatoes and a little salt and pepper. Mmmm good. Oh yeah, have to keep Bryan busy with projects as he does get bored easily if he doesn;t hae something to do and he is not one to sit down and enjoy reading a book for hours. He does like to play Ga to hear work is picking up at Andre's plave of work. Never want to see people let go nd have to worry about money to take care of themselves and their families. A salmon pancake?? I do mank salmon pattties and fry them up but not in a pancake :) xo

By Jiskat on Aug 30, 2015 at 5:06 AM

Did you have a nice birthday? Did you have a party? Thanks for the cake!! Oh yes!! I do love cake ;-D The rain is not typical. It is a little later in the year. Fall is usualy extremely wet over here. But not during the summer. I'm so glad you like your garden!! And by the sound of it, you had/have a great veggie garden too!! I love eating cucumbers with creamcheese as a snack! Brian loves to work with his hands, doesn't he?! Is he easely bored too, like André is? It's a good thing there's a lot of work to do at André 's job. It has been a lot less, and now things are picking up again. Enough work for everyone, so no one will have to be let go. And it's only every now and then he has to work a few hours at the weekend. Think i'm going to have a banana pancake later today. Not sure yet.... or maybe the salmon... There so many to choose from... ;-D

By Sylviag on Aug 29, 2015 at 12:10 PM

Thanks or the Happy dear one! I know you and cake get along really, really well so I'm sending a piece back to you with hugs :) You know am the same way about the age on kids. I am just not that good with communicating with the younger ones and the older the gkids get the more i am enjoying them. But then I have never been the typical "goo goo cute kiddie" Grandma :) That much rain isn't typical for you this time of year is it? I did grow sunflowers! They love the sun and heat here but do not grow as high as they did in WA. So far we have enjoyed all the veggies from the greenhouse. It is just the right sized garden as compared to the way too big one I had in WA. We still have cucumbers, Swiss chard, carrots, tomatoes and onions getting ripe. The season will not be as late here as WA but that is OK because once it starts getting colder I am ready to do ndoor stuff. Bryan keeps talking about putting another itty run off the outdoor enclosure along the house but so far I have ben able to talk him out of it. The kitties have enough outdoor space Ithink - he doesn't LOL Oooh pancakes sounds lovely? With all kinds of toppings like strawberries an whip whip? I am sorry he ha to drive on Sundays as the eekends are the only times you have together but I hope it is late sun afternoon. Kids here don;t go bak to school until the day after Labor Day which is the Mon, 7th of Sep here. A lovely weekend to you. xooxo

By Jiskat on Aug 29, 2015 at 1:15 AM

Woohoo!!! It's your birthday!!! :-D *lots of B-Day cuddlies from all of us*

By Jiskat on Aug 28, 2015 at 5:43 AM

15 Is a great age! They start to become a real person, with their own opinion! Not so happy for parents I suppose, but I like it, when you can have a 'grown up' conversation with them. I wish we could sent some of our rain over to you! We're in for more next week! We live with water all the time. We're much better prepaired for it these day's. They're always looking for new, or better solutions to flooding problems. Hows your garden? Did you grow sunflowers this year too? And did you have a good veggie harvest? How are the cats doing? Did Brian build an extention to the outdoor enclosure? Cats over here are moody.... they want to go into the enclosure so bad, but they hate the rain! :-D Think we're going to eat pancakes with my MIL next Sunday. Depends on what time André has to go to work. It's been busy at his job lately. He starts driving some weeks on Sunday, to get a headstart on traffic. Things are pretty much back to normal over here. Kids are back at school. Peeps are working again.

By Sylviag on Aug 27, 2015 at 11:02 AM

Oh my, long time no chat. I ED that you went to a kids birthday party. I can take those for maybe 2 hours max :) All our gkids are older now so their parties are not as noisy any more. Our gdaughter just turned 15 last Sun - can't believe she is a oung lady now. ED that you have had a lot of rain - we need it so badly - send some our way with so manywidfires in the West. Your country certainly has had to mitigate flooding issues with so much of your land practically below sea level. Anything fun planned for the weekend?

By Jiskat on Aug 18, 2015 at 6:27 AM

Barely anyone left of the original cast on Game of Thrones!! I think I know who you're refering to, that got killed at the end of season 5, and that was one of my favorite's too!! :-( My back problems are all gone!! You would score big if there was something like 'frequent road tripp miles' to collect!! ;-D But as long as you can do things like that, and enjoy yourselfs, you should go as many times as possible!! Two of André's co workers (a married couple) celebrated their birthday's, and the guy bought a new truck. The guy is a truckdriver too, who has his own truck, and his wife does the administration for the company André works. She's also the one that sees to it we get paid on time. So she's a V.I.P!! ;-D
