That's marvellous news Hun!!! I've been offline for 2 weeks in Canberra with my daughter's family, but just bought my first laptop (a learning experience in itself) so just learned the good news. Hang in there kid - I'm cheering for you and sending love and hugs. xoxoxox - David
I am of course behind the eightball on Cheeze news but was very concerned to read today about your current brush with the medical profession. I'm so glad your Cheezefriends have rallied round to support you. Come home soon - we love and miss you. xoxoxox. David
Thanks Hun - seems that way, don't it! I'm powering ahead with the memoirs and am up to 1988, when I managed the Canberra Pavilion at World Expo '88 in Brisbane. If you like what you've got so far you can have more lol!
Thanks Hun. Yup, they're still dredging up my oldies from somewhere, some I'd forgotten completely! Glad you got your road trip in before winter. I'm basically waiting out our winter here and getting my health sorted before spring, when I plan to do a bit of travelling myself. The memoirs are coming along fine. I'm up to the start of the 1980s, almost to the point when I met Carol. Just doing a few pages or paragraphs a day... Keep smiling - David
Hiya - LOLCat FP congrats! Yep, they don't always land on their feet :) Keep getting those FPs so we can see a little of you here :) Hope the memoirs are going well. We've been dong soe RV road tripping so haven;t been able to be on here as much as I would like. But it is the last long trip of the summer.
Hi Hun. Nice to hear from you - hope you and Bryan are well and happy. I'm afraid I haven't been on Cheeze for months - they just keep dredging up old lols of mine for the fp - some already made fp over a year ago lol! I'm currently sorting out some health issues and working on my memoirs, which seem to be coming along nicely - only 45 years to go (I'm up to the 1970s). Don't think I'll be back loling any time soon, tho I'm always glad to see messages from my friends. Cheers. David. xoxoxoxox
Wow! CRAFT is a very worthwhile cause - well done the both of you! Best wishes for its continued success. 70 cats! It's all I can do to cope with 2! Nice to hear from you - I'm I'm just coasting at the moment, but family will be here for a visit in a couple of weeks so that's something to look forward to. oxoxox - David

Thanks for the kind words and thoughts Hun. Saw her at midday - she's better and had the tube out and survived it! They are talking of moving her to rehab tomorrow or Thur. Guess it'll be another week before she can come home tho...
Thanks Hun. Yes it is cooling down a bit tho still pretty steamy. Things are all topsy turvey here because C went into hospital Wed with apparent gastro enteritis. She is very ill and was rushed to Lismore hospital yesterday where they did an emergency op because they thought she had an obstruction in the bowel. they gave her a 50/50 chance of survival but she's tough and came thru OK. There was no obstruction so now they think it's just (!) an aggressive strain of the gastro. I'm off to see her now. I guess she could do with any beams of encouragement her friends can generate right now... Gotta go. xoxoxox - David
