Like the C&W lyrics go"...ain't love strange?" Anyway, hope things have gone well otherwise, too.

Hahah! So true about the marriage and love. I actually do support them both; it just cracks me up in a strange way!

Sorry to hear that, but like my ex (marriage #3) always said, 'Seasons change and so do we.' We weren't married nearly as long as your folks were, but it still caused shock-waves up and down the line. Even if I knew it was comming about 1 1/2 years before "D-day". While it might not seem at all right to you, right now, even 'old folks' can fall in/out of love, just like any one younger can. A healthy person never is really 'too old' for love (they might just be too old to do any thing about it [:~) ). Give the support that both are going to need, even if you don't like the idea. Two people staying married 'for the kids' has NEVER worked out...at least, none that I ever knew of or even heard about. Each time, indifferance and even resentment over 'what could have been' always blew the marriage apart later. And it always ended up hurting people more than a clean cut would have at the beginning. *Now I'll get off my soapbox and get my nose out of your business.*

Hello! No problem, thanks for accepting! We're in Vacaville, CA...which is inbetween Sacremento and San Francisco. My Mother-in-Law called one day, told me & my hubby that she & her hubby are getting divorced and SHE'S SEEING SOMEONE. Can you believe that?! They're almost in thier 70's! She since moved in with the manfriend and asked if we could move into her old house (she doesn't want to sell it). So...that was that!! We we're just outside Atlanta, GA and loved it; it was so beautiful there! ;-)

Hello...sorry to take so long messaging you, but when I confirmed you (more than once) I got to your profile page with no message box (also more than once). Where at in CA? My folks and baby brother (whose 6'4" to my 5'2") live in Stockton. If you don't mind me being nosey, why were you and yours transplanted and where from in GA? Never had a sugar glider, but I have had a kinkajo, a couple of skunks, some ferrets, several snakes, a 3' iguana, an Umbrella Cockitoo , an octopuss and pur-ranna (no, not a strange saltwater catfish, but I'm discovering that I can't properly spell the word tonight to save my life) :~) As for a mean parrots, I don't think anything can keep up with the African Grey that my mother has (along with a couple dozen other feathered friends. Everything from two Scarlets that hate each other to button guail, from finches to an African White-cheeked Turaco). His name is Jasper and he's the meanest little %$@%^$# you'll ever meet. Got to cclose now.
