A cupcake as big as yer head. .. I'm stymied by whut could B used to.... OH! a terra cotta pot! But how long at what temp. to get the middle done before the outer edge became a thick layer of shoe leather type cake... hmmm... dang I'll B pondering THAT for quite a while... I will discuss it with mah dotter. I'll put the neuclear reactor problems I gotta solve aside fer a while. Rocket Science kin wate.
oxymoron~ GIANT cupcake? was it a layer cake made to look like or was it truly a CUP cake. What size cup? I have a muffin pan that makes large cupcakes.. hmmm?
I just remembered cupcakes! the question would be... When all I want is one piece of cake, why do I have to bake a whole cake? I don't! cupcakes! And each cupcake gets its own frosting design. Nice to practice on and easier to give away.
I took all three months of Wilton cake decorating classes. While I don't like the taste of fondant I did learn to make roses out of the stuff. I am most pleased with my roses. Everything else was non-lovely. I watch Ace of Cakes and all I want to do is make mah roses.
Thanx fer bein mah cheezie frend. When I wuz a liddle gurl I wuz gonna be a "film actress" wen I grew up. Drama wuz mah first major in college. That's when I learned I don't have the starch in mah backbone fer it. My starch is fer paintin, crochetin and cookin. Gramma stuff.
