Yep, that's why you've got to line the 'puters up for simultaneous work, 'else you'll be wasting mondo time. 2:00AM, you say? Well, Silvertoes was bounding in and out of my room as I was getting ready for bed. (Slept over Sunday night.) Was cute for a while; then I shut the door.
Ohai! Taking a break from working on laptops and such. Couldn't believe a desktop I worked on Sunday. The old "press a key and wait five minutes for a response." UGH! Unusable. Turned out a Scandisk with all the "auto-fix" options turned on was the answer, even if the scan did take ~ two hours. Visited Bonnie [bgcmeowrrr] over the weekend. Silvertoes was a little standoffish but another cat fell asleep on my arm. Awwww...sweet. :)

No basements? Where do you hide out from the hurricanes? Congratulations on your FP! ** The salt suggestion isn't dumb, it's a fact. Causes the body to use more water & hence partial dehydrate...which causes dizziness. I don't add salt to my food, however. but it's definitely a good thought. ** Still not 100%. Gotta see if I can get a very late start on fulfilling a two-week-old promise. I feel "not so good" and most unlike driving 20-30 miles, but one day the resolve has to be there & it just has to get done...purrs, furs, n' hugs right back atcha.
