I kinda like the vet I have now (not too sure about this new vet, but I liked the other ones) but so far I've spent ~$500 (c'est la vie rent) and he's still going to go into the hospital on monday. it's not FUS, looks like "hepatic liver" or "pancrititus" and I don't think either is good - or cheap. He's eating more and drinking more than he has all week, as far as I can tell.
Nah, just call the vet, as long as they've seen your cats before, it should be pretty simple. I have a vet appt tomorrow because Auriga's sick. I'm 90% sure he's got feline urinary syndrome. He's been really under the weather lately, not wanting to be held, then today I noticed when he got in my lap that he was dribbling pee on me. Of course this can't happen before 6pm when the vet closes..
I meant the cat.. LOL
The vet can give you a slight sedative. One of mine goes from Dallas to Phoenix with me in the car every christmas. She's better going to AZ then coming back.

ed - my ex used to hate cats (I shoulda learned from that, but no..) but he came around when my cat used to sit at the door when i was due to come home too.

I'm glad you liked the "Facts about Willie/Waylon" and, yes, please go ahead and send it out as a theme! A few of my other cheez friends are doing something similar. It would be fun to learn about everybody cats!
