i took english in university when i did my undergrad degree, but that was literature rather than creative writing. i guess i hav never formally taken creative writing. my job involves a lot of writing, but not the creative kind. but when i write "for me" and not for work, it feels like a release, a wonderful conduit for musing or remembering, all those things. i did write a bit this evening, tho not what i anticipated. =^..^=
quite fascinating wot u describe about writing being associated with specific parts of the brain. i hadn't thot of it that way, but makes perfect sense! perhaps i will write more tonight. how r all your projects going? =^..^=
I know exactly what you're 'not' saying! The thing about the relationship between my sister and me is that the further away from each other we are, the better we get along. She is currently in Mooloolaba, Queensland and I am here in Melbourne, about 1800 kms away. I love her and she is amazingly clever, doing all sorts of marvellous things with beads and wood-burning, dressmaking, knitting and crocheting - all things I can't do! I, on the other hand, can do spreadsheets - big deal - but I take comfort and pride where I can these days. Cheers!

sorry just so many messages. How come you never went to Disney again? I never went to Magic Mountain how was it like? Today i went to the pool finnally! I was dying to go for 2 months but i was always busy or it was always raining. I am having a b-day/going away party with my friends i will miss them but not PR. for some reason i've always found it difficult to write directly onto the computer...i always write on paper first! i suppose it doubles the time i spend writing, but when i transcribe my scribbles then i usually think of more to write! how was ur day? =^..^=
Yeah Puerto Rico isnt really a state. My dad also moves alot with his work thats why i move alot. Where is Bakersfield? Did u like Oklahoma? i hope the muse found u! i have been thinking about writing (for fun, not work) all weekend. i suddenly had a flashback to something i began writing last August, then it didn't feel right to finish it. i am going to give it a shot dis afternoon. funny how one can be transported back to the same space one was in at an earlier inspiration. =^..^=
