How to tell if you've been feeding your goggeh too much Hawaiian food ;) http://cheezburger.com/View/4523014144 Hugz Andie
i am hooked! why oh why do they not sell those in canada!! we're being deprived of joy of the almond variety!!! how is your week going? i'm having a good one. i went to a potluck last night and took a lemon poppyseed cake. i think i'm in haiku remission, since i haven't thought of any recently. what about you?
I'm will to take anything that you don't want. I can pass it along to those in need. You actually don't need to buy if you wish to collect. Just simply ask a friend for an extra that they have and swap them for one they ask for.
oh happy, oh joy, i found an almond joy at a specialty candy store! what have i been missing.....
Always remember to be taking good care of your adorables :) http://cheezburger.com/View/4505400320 Hugz Andie
If you move your cursor arrow onto the collectible, it will show a wrapped gift and a magnifying glass. If you click on the gift, you can send it to one of your friends. Your friends list will show up. Just click on who you want to send it to and click the button belows it that says "Send Gift". You can send a gift to the same person once a day. You can send out as many as you want in a day, if they are going to different people. Am I assuming right that you do not want one in return?
I was just wondering if you had any plans for the extra teddy bear collectible you have. I have several that you need that you could choose from. That bear has been ever so elusive to me.
coffee crisp is the best...it's three layers of wafers with coffee-flavoured creme between them and the entire thing is enrobed in choc....drooool! highly highly recommend them :) my precious choklit // infuses my days with yum // the sweetest escape and that is my rash of haikuitis today! hope your day is lovely
oooohhh...mounds and almond joy! they don't retail those in canada. woe is me. but on the other hand, i've never seen mars bar or coffee crisp in the states. do you have a new sketch for your profile pic? lovely work. it's a holiday here today ("family day"), so it's nice to have an excuse to relax. i also didn't know there were other forms of haikus; i've only known the 5-7-5 syllable ones. the latest: white sky hints of snow // the taste of impending ice // all are monochromes =^..^=
oh, if your friend quizzes you about canada again, we have 10 provinces and 3 territories! i live in the capital city of alberta. edmonton is also the northernmost city in the world with more than a million people. hah...i love trivia!
i have progressive, terminal haiku-itis and it is catching! how is your week going? i am trying to sketch a birthday card for my uncle, who is turning 60 in a couple of days. when i was really little, i invented this character (a cat who played the cello) with him, so i might do something involving that. =^..^=
haiku virus :) good one. let's see.... was going to have coffee with some friends but everyone is getting the flu this week. i have no clue how i've managed to avoid it. how is your week going?
you are on a haiku roll! maybe the scent of cinnamon did the trick? it's definitely one of my favourite spices. i actually knew a cat named cinnamon once. he was a tabby; black stripes on a cinnamon background. life is decent here, not a lot to report. perhaps i'll think of a haiku - i was sitting here, trying to think of one, but no luck! =^..^=
Sorry the "????" in the Hebrew part was the Hebrew characters, the ICHC message software doesn't support fonts of that type (or Cyrillic, Hangul, Japanese, etc.)
You got me wondering (Uh-oh), so I did some research, this may surprise you, but some facts from several Spam trivia sites: "In the United Kingdom spam is often sliced, battered and deep-fried becoming known as 'spam fritters', and is still a popular way of eating Spam today. It gained popularity in the 1940s during World War II, as a consequence of the Lend-Lease Act when Hormel began to increase production towards British and Russian markets. After World War II, Newforge Foods, part of the Fitch Lovell group, were awarded the license to produce the product in the UK (doing so at its Gateacre factory, Liverpool), where it stayed until production switched to the Danish Crown Group (owners of the Tulip Food Company) in 1998, forcing the closure of the Liverpool factory and the loss of 140 jobs. By the early 1970s the name Spam was often misused to describe any tinned meat product containing pork, such as pork luncheon meat. The image of Spam as a low cost meat product gave rise to the Scottish colloquial term "Spam valley" to describe certain affluent housing areas where residents appear to be wealthy but in reality may be living at poverty levels. In Israel, a kosher variant of Spam, known as Loof (Hebrew: ????, distortion of meatloaf), was produced by Richard Levi, and mostly used as part of field rations by the Israeli Defense Forces. A Glatt kosher version was also produced." Face it hon, it's in a lot of places, but it doesn't mean ya have to buy it or eat it, right? ;^) Here's the real scary part: "Guam, Hawaii, and Saipan, the CNMI's principal island, have the only McDonald's restaurants that feature Spam on the menu. In Hawaii, Burger King began serving Spam in 2007 on its menu to compete with the local McDonald's chains. In Hawaii, Spam is so popular it is sometimes dubbed "The Hawaiian Steak" "
Yep, I fully agree, I can't stand it! I have some friends in the Philippines that LOVE it, oh well, to each their own, I guess part of it is in the context of the culture and what is available by comparison for ease of storage and/or preparation........
