T-day tradition is to go to big sis' place n' gobble till we wobble. This year; a break fro trad.(sis will be out of town this year)so, we are going to a T-day buffet. All the trimmings! Hope there is plenty of fruit pies as I am NOT fond of pumpkin pie. My opinion is that pumpkins should be carve on but NOT consumed. Lots of options fer dessert.

Only 7, Rhoda.I lost C.B. and his brother, Whizzer, last winter. It hurtsmy heart, but I can't take any new ones. I'm finding it harder to take care of them in bad weather.

i realize that my posts are long(ya all are used to that)so, I'll make this short. Working w/what Christmas stuff I had, I created a Christmas scene on our front porch. I have the animals reacting to Santa Claus & the magic of Christmas separately. Observing a white, lighted tree w/a buck & doe in a yard is dull & boring! Why not have them reacting independent of each other; curious; yes, but, happy. Adding the the scene are cone-shaped bobble birds(have springs inside their bodies)w/brightly colored hats n' scarves. They're tying on red bows onto everything! Have one standing at edge of porch looking up at you....hey! watch it...he's got a bow!! Will take photos of scene when complete. Whew..this was long again.

I've been on the phone with charmer. She tried getting to the Sofa with her tablet, but it was a no go. She's gonna let Rocky see if any of her stuff can be retrieved from her computer but not until after Thanksgiving. He's doing some home repair work, and she doesn't want to interrupt him. He might not get back to it, and Marybeth would be really POd.

They are working with the Golden Rescue league - so another golden retriever. There were 2 boys they saw today - and there may be some medical issues - but- not sure if that would stop them from adopting one of them or not. They wanted an older dog -- 8 yrs or so - as they are not up for puppyhood and don't want to really outlive the dog either. They were so hoping that Linekin would be around for 4 more years or so when she suddenlyl passed this spring. Mom said one of the boys was following her all around and nudging her for pets -- she was loving it i think so!!!
