Oooo, I could smooch you! Books for a good cause;) I start stocking up on books for the winter months starting now & this site is right up my alley!! YAY, wins all around!!
I don't see where they should have a problem with that. We're discussing it on the db & LOTS of people *ED*...all they can do is 'yank' it...*big cheezy grin*
And most of the $$ goes to a good cause...WORLDWIDE! I think I'll put a link up for our other book fiends here....
They're good about shipping fairly quickly. I think my last order took about 6 days & it's been about that long for this order. I know they'll be here the first part of this week...I can hardly wait since I'm rebuilding my library. I've got TONS of books & if I ever move, I'm gonna hear a lot of whining about the boxes of books! *giggle*
Wait til you get the one when they ship the books! They're always a little different & always funny.

Thanks Tired. Was my Bday earlier but my brother is moving to Australia on Wednesday so is his way of having one last Bday with each of us. Not a problem! That's one of my most favritest places on the web! I tripped over it one day when ICHC was being stupid & was hooked! I managed to replace all my Tabitha King novels (Stephen King's wife) & am getting a lot of my lost books back. Tab is a great novelist too, btw. I love the fact that I'm helping people when I buy my books. That's always a plus. ;) I'm headed to bed. Glad I don't have to be to work til 4 pm tomorrow!

My dd was only about 12 when she read the Vampire Chronicles & she agrees that Bowie should have been Lestat. They were stupid to put Cruise in the role just for the bucks. I have everything Cornwell has written...mostly in hardcover. I'm working on recovering my collection of Anne Rice. I lost most of them in moving. I don't 'do' paperbacks when I can get hardcovers...are you familiar with BetterWorldBooks? You can get lots of books for little $$ from there & it helps the Worldwide literacy program in the process....
Ain't THAT the truth!! In my opinion he should have been selected to play Anne Rice's Lestat. I can never read the Vampire Chronicles without picturing him as Lestat. He is AWESOME!! I love Anne Rice & have most of her books...and Stephen King's...and Terry Brooks...and Terry Pratchett...and Patricia Cornwell....I'm a bookworm from the jump!
