Hey Tool!!! Senks!!! :-D
ohai, ToolBee! just wanted to say that if you're gonna drop hammers on Tush Dimbulb's head, ai will pay to watch it!!! teh jerk considers that anyone who get addicted to drugs is scum, (except when HE got addicted to HIS painkillers ~ that's different) and that people who use birth control in insurance plans that he pays into are sluts, and should let him watch them have sex (the fact that HE uses Viagra on HIS insurance plan is different ~ that is NOT the insurance company paying HIM to have sex, oh no no no.) what an infernal hypocrite. like ai said, if there's gonna be any hammer dropping, ai want in on the action. HAMMER TIME!!!! (ai have to find a pair of parachute pants)
OK, I didn't know that. I do know that a lot of the groups from Motown covered each others songs, to the point that you really couldn't tell which group was actually singing it. Talk about getting the most mileage from a song writer. So it does make sense that she would have covered it at some time. I know GG had sort of dropped out of site for a long time, and was in deep financial trouble. Some relative saw a commercial using I Will Survive, and urged her to check to see if there was any royalties due to her. GG checked, and found out that she had a LOT of money in royalties waiting for her. No one knew how to get in touch with her, so they just held the money. Turned out to be a happy ending to her troubles. Thanks for the link, and I apologize for any offense, none meant! TTYL! Gary
Hey TB! I was just wondering if you knew that "I Will Survive" was done by Gloria Gaynor, not Donna Summer. I don't know if Donna Summer ever covered it. I can't find anything that says she did. Donna Summer did about every other great hit from the Disco era though (except for the ones by the BeeGee's, LOL!).
