You give him a good long pet from me and consider yourself hugged - big time!
Ohai ToolBee, I'm sorry Ozzie is missing. The difficult part is you don't know what happened. Now please do not give up. Please make a poster with his pictures, your phone number and a specific cash reward. Put it in large black font.. People who see the reward amount will be extra eyes looking for Ozzie. Put the posters everywhere, homes, shops, shelters. Now search for Ozzie. Begin where he was last seen. Take a map and search in a spiral pattern starting where he was last seen, looking in every dark little space. Get your neighbors to unlock sheds and garages. Keep searching in a circle going outwards. This will make you look in places where you believe he cannot be. Take a shirt you have worn and leave it out for him to smell. Get a Havahart trap. Bait it with his favorite smelly food like canned fish. Try calling for him at night or when it is quiet. Check all the cages at the shelter yourself, including the dead list. Do not give up. I lost one of my black cats because he crossed eight lanes of traffic and was on the other side for three months -until I crossed the street also. Then I found him in 20 minutes. My cat was 10 years old and neutered. After I found him, the vet removed gun shot from his leg. My cat lived for another 10 years. So please don't give up. xox
