I've decided long ago that the vast majority of people are crap. You find a few good souls here and there but with this kinda stuuf most just don't want to know. The writer is david McDonald if you are interested in the book but I have a funny feeling it could be out of print! If you really want it try abebooks, they are online. Good company for hard to get book (i have a book problem)but can be pricey and I don't have a visa!

Sounds good :) I'll see if I can find it one of the book shops in Belfast when I'm there tomorrow :) I do know about foxes being blamed for everything by farmers because I lived for most of my live in the countryside and even read books about it and felt angry at people's insistance and excuses to continue cruel sports like fox hunting. I feel sad that some poor little rescue fox could end up in that because of some poor excuse for a human's ignorance :( Andie

Haven't actually got him yet, waiting for the person who reported him to arrive. Farmers blame the fox for an awful lot it doesn't do also though. Read brilliant book 'running with the fox' Cambridge prof. I think spent his life studying them and all about his research. Really interesting.

Awww, poor little thing :( I understand that farmers want to protect their livestock and their crops, but they never stop to realise that the foxes they kill may have families and that they're just doing what they need to survive, especially when us hoomins practically take over their home (the countryside) and attack them when all they're trying to do is live just like any of God's creatures :/ How is the little fella doing so far?
