Bless him Vitara reckon they feel pretty much as we humans do at times! I guess it will take him a while to get used not to having his buddy around but its great he has such a great hoomin to watch out for him!

Hai Vitara poor wee mite i guess a animal knows when its time to go and its had enuff, its mixed feelings wif us humans letting go of them but knowing you are putting them first and not wanting them to hurt anymore,,, but it don't stop you're heart from hurting i know right here anytime Vitara sending you healing thoughts and much much lub x
