Whew! The sun came out just in time! I just went to our NOAA weather forecast & found that our biggest river, which flows right through our county seat was expected to crest early this morn. at just 0.5 feet below flood level! We've had many floods before - unlike the Native Americans, when the white settlers put in railroads they also populated & built roads in the flood plain. It amazes me that while you can see the remnants of the Seneca Trail - which became a settlers' route - up on a hillside, our generation is still surprised & dismayed when it floods! Folks, that's why the original county seat was at Huntersville & NOT Marlinton! Even at Huntersville, the settlements were located on higher ground, away from streams that often flood. Oh, well, I'll step down off the soapbox for now.
The previous msg was more for folks who ED & then go off on a huff because they misunderstood what was meant. I didn't think that you needed such a complete explanation. Have a great Thursday! At least, it looks like we'll have a sunny one.
Just to be clear, in case someone EDs & misinterprets what was said abt favorite collectibles: Like many others, I'm still helping CFs w. fill their coll. sets. *At the end of the collectibles program, when everyone who wants to fill their sets has done so, or come as close as possible, several CPs have favorite collectibles of which they'd like to have multiples.* This is NOT to hog colls. & keep them from CFs who need them to complete sets. Sometimes, when someone reqs. certain colls., we have to go through our lists to be certain that they are not already promised. Also, sometimes, coll. helpers find that they're working at cross-purposes - for ex. asking for colls that are already intended for the CF they're trying to help. (Hence, a lot of helpers ask 1st whom the colls are to go.) If someone asks for a coll. & I can't send it, I explain & then keep an eye open for another of that coll to send to the requester. Sometimes that takes a few days. I do not trade. I'd rather freely send reqs. when I can, not hold on to them to barter. That's just the way I feel abt. colls.
Nerver TMI! I love knowing a littel about my wonderful Cheezpeeps! :) I promise to send over any microscopes and outdoorsie things. Heaven knows I do not use outdoorsies stuffs! lol
Oh, yes....I'm keeping my eyes open for I Eated Kittehs for you. Would you please keep an eye open for Hairball Microscope for me? As a retired science teacher, I couldn't resist - although the Survival set also appeals to me very much! I've been hiking & camping all my life, married into an outdoor family & now have 2 sons w. young families that are total outdoor people. OK TMI. I need to take an IRL hot tea break ;-)

I thought that a week or so ago, I EDed that you were interested in "original" TP rolls. First of all, I didn't know if that meant the Unrolled TP from the Bad Kitteh set or the TP on the tp holder from the Challenge Accepted set. Secondly, are you looking for one of them?

She is afraid that peeps don't send her anything because she has so many as it is, but, in reality, she has like 20+ peeps she's sending stuff to, so I am trying to "fill up" her supplies. If I read you correctly, you wanted those 2 Yaris colls. to end up w. NCcharmer, correct? I have just send her a bunch of Yarises, inc. those. I've let her know that those 2 were req. by you. OK?
If you were going to relay those 2 Yaris to NC, and if none of my CFs need them, do you just want me to send them to her directly? (I'll be relaying some other extra colls to her anyway.)

Attn: Collectibles Co-op - I goofed when I asked for "Unrolled Toilet Paper" form the Challenge Accepted Set. I must have been thinking through my headache "Unused Toilet Paper. (Gracias to Pulver who caught my mistake & brought it to my attention.) Anyhow, I need about 5 new, unused "Toilet Paper" on a TP holder- from the Challenge Accepted set. If you can donate an extra one of these, it will be greatly appreciated & will find a Forever Home.

Well, I am the older "sister" but only by about 3.5 hours! lol I am so sorry your mommy is no longer with us. ou can share my mommy with me! I still have a peridot necklace that was given to me when I was a very little girl. I always loved the pale green color. And, last year when I was in Hawaii, I visited one of only three "green" sand beaches in the whole world. I found out, while I was in a volcano science center, that the green beaches are green because peridot is one of the first "rocks" that are formed and "shot out" of an exploding volcano and they are the first to reach the seas where they cool and break up and make the beaches green! But, it only has happened in three places in the world. Amazing!! (Oh, btw...I am FULL of useless information! lmao I think the smell of fresh coffee is...well, ok. But I think it tastes NASTY!! lol I have tea everyday, almost all day. Mostly hot, but iced all summer (it's summer almost all year in Cali! ) lol I got the nickname from the guys at work..I would bring a huge thermos to work everyday! I guess you could have a worse "construction worker nickname!" lol It is my dream to own my own Tea Shop.

(I think they began participating in ICHC after the collections started.) I'm acting as a relay person for them. They are SWinNW, RainbowMaus, ChillyDawg, and Molly_Mommy. Yes, I noticed that 2nd ! (BTW I was born just after 8PM on my late mother's birthday! I still wear her peridot ring.) First, ; your name Hot Tea caught my attention. I am an avid hot tea drinker, never drink coffee. I love the smell of fresh coffee, but *not* the taste! What kind of tea do you drink? If it's herbal, just this summer I found a fantastic place for natural, berbal teas.
