By WilliamKeckler on Aug 6, 2011 at 7:36 PM

Yeah, I have your rain too...the sounds are so pretty tonight though...but not when they turn one's yard into a pond....

By FurryCorona on Aug 6, 2011 at 7:11 PM

Well thank you! And as I sit here, I keep waiting on the ducks & geese to flock to my's all friggin' water...AGAIN. LOL

Still swimming here. Well I'll say a Rainbow Nyan Blessing that the prognosis was pessimistic and the healing goes even faster. ;-)

By FurryCorona on Aug 6, 2011 at 6:43 PM

I'm making progress which is good of course...I haven't been on as much as I would like to 'cuz work is kicking my ass. Still have pain, but am starting to have feeling in part of my arm by the wrist & doc said that's unusual until at least 2 mths after surgery, so I see it as I'm ahead of the game...LOL. How have you been?

By WilliamKeckler on Aug 6, 2011 at 5:47 PM

Hope you're feeling better. Haven't been on much lately.

By FurryCorona on Jul 15, 2011 at 7:40 PM

Hey William! Thank u fer the FP congrats! Same to u, 'cuz I'm sure Ive missed sum over the last few days...The surgeries were successful, but the pain is just shy of unbearable, My numbing med "pain pump" is clogged or sumfin cuz its not pumping any happy numb juice in me...Dr. P said he will meet me at his office tomorrow to have a looksee, hopefully he can do sumfin. Then, once work slows a bit in early Fall, I'll need to get the left arm done the same way...yippee! LOL Thank u fer the healing prayers!!! *HUGZ*

Hi Angela! First, congrats on the AFTER DARK fp...very cute as well as funny lol. And Nyan Cat Rainbow Blessings for easy surgeries and speedy recoveries! Hopefully helped on with Dr. Tinycat's easy prescription paw....I hear they're "looking into" his largesses with the drugs that start "oxy--" Suspicions are that's why he's always so happy himself! ;-)

Nyan Rainbow Blessings for a great outcome so you can say "i haz a putting behind me." My "hernia friend." I luvz it. That's what I'm going to call him from now on lol. He's struggling with a lot of pain. But has meds. He says 'Whoever says laparoscopic is less painful is lying."

By FurryCorona on Jul 1, 2011 at 7:44 PM

Such a small world, isn't it?!?! LOL. I always feel like I'm neglecting ppl when I don't reply right away; yet I manage to get on every day for a couple minutes at the office each day to check sum new LOL's...Anywho, I'm glad u understand. BTW, I got my EMG results today...Dr. P. will need to do both the elbow and the wrist/hand in 13 more days (Cue Europe's song "Final Countdown"....LOL). My thoughts for aspeedy recovery for ur hernia surgery friend!

By WilliamKeckler on Jun 27, 2011 at 10:53 AM

OMG! I didn't realize you were that close geographically to me and I actually have heard of your doctor! Glad to hear you're progressing through. No worries. I'm not needy about people messaging me. Be well. I'm currently playing nursemaid to someone who just had hernia surgery. Laparoscopically, but it still takes you right out of the game.

Hey there! Super-Sorry I'm super-slow at responding...the last couple weeks hav been hell to put it nicely. Typing has not been very hard lately as the other nerve (in my wrist) is now messed up as well. My primary hand is pretty much useless now. I had a tasing (EMG test) done last Thurs & hope to hav results this evening. Anywho, I had looked at the links you have posted on ur profile & see ur in the HBG area, my awesome Doc is in Mech. Dr. Perlmutter @ West Shore Hand & Ortho (AKA Musculo-Skeletal Institute), I dunno where ur Mom lives, but maybe he's close enuff for her to check out. And as for the "frozen shoulder" thing...PLZ Do NOT let it get that far! I don't think she'd like how they "fix" that. (I had it done in '04 right b4 my spinal cord surgery), it sux! *HUGZ*

I think i would be cool to have an adult Harry Potter as doctor. It's hard enough to get her out of the house for her one doctor, but now that you say it I might suggest it. I didn't really question cuz it sort of made sense and I had never heard of anyone having an operation in that spot. And they had told her it would naturally heal so we were both sort of holding out for that. I'm just grateful that she's gotten to the place of no pain. But when she favors the other side and doesn't use it she runs the risk of "frozen shoulder" I think they call it. Use it or lose it is so true with the body. Anyway, here's prayers to My Own Private Ceiling Cat. For you both. He's a very nice Supernatural Feline so I'm trusting both these stories will have surprising upturns.

Oh, and BTW, Happy Happy FP Congratz on ur Cheezburger & Hot Dog FP's....Awesum as always!!

By FurryCorona on Jun 14, 2011 at 9:33 PM

I thank you fer that! I'm just holding onto faith it'll all be ok after the recovery process passes. I'm sorry to hear about your Mom's shoulder! That has to be super miserable! How can they not do anything??? That's beyond wrong! Has she gotten 2nd / 3rd opinions? That's what I had to do to get where I'm at now. The doc I'm seeing spent 2 1/2 hrs w/ me @ my 1st appt going over my symptoms, explaining how the elbow joint works, and even gave me a play-by-play of the surgery, this guy is the shit! (Seriously). I've already recommended him to to 2 other people (Grandfather & a friend) and they were equally impressed. The guy totally looks like an adult Harry Potter, but hey, he takes the jokes in stride..

By WilliamKeckler on Jun 14, 2011 at 6:20 AM

I'm so sorry to hear. I'll say a prayer to my Own Private Ceiling Cat that this all resolves well. Living with pain on a daily basis can't be easy. I had forgotten the ulnar is the "funny bone." I hope you have the right tools (I guess that's not always medications) for pain management. Don't let it get you down. I can tell you're doing the right things to get back to "normal days." My mom has a fractured shoulder that they can't even do anything about and I try to play cheerleader to her about doing her exercises when she's now begun to despair it will never get better. I bring her restaurant meals but miss when she could get out and enjoy herself. Aging sucks. There should be an alternative. Besides death I mean. ;-)

By FurryCorona on Jun 13, 2011 at 11:02 PM

I do have a littel carpal tunnel, not bad enuff fer them to operate tho...they're going in my elbow to remove the shredded ligament (still not sure how the hell that happened), remove an area of bone (large bone spurs throughout my whole body), and they have to "relocate" my ulnar nerve further into the elbow...right now it's as if my funny bone (tech. the ulnar nerve) is constantly being hit and my whole forearm is on fire all the time. It sux, but i'm teaching myself to be left handed for the time being. LOL

By WilliamKeckler on Jun 13, 2011 at 12:52 PM

I"m good. Elbow surgery? I sense some carpal tunnel biz? The modern malady!

By FurryCorona on Jun 13, 2011 at 9:17 AM

I most certainly did my friend! And oh noes! ur captioning the inspirational ones...I have seen that causing this controversy, but I thought (fer the last 2.5 yrs I been here) that all pics were free to be captioned anyway/anyhow...maybe I was mistaken, wouldn't be the 1st time...LOL. I pretty much stick w/ the cheez & hot dogs (and the AD sites of course cause I'm just "twisted like that"). Anyways, things are ok here I think, just trying to get extra cheez-time in before my elbow surgery mid-July, that's gonna be a setback, (unless I get sum good pain pills...hmmm) LOL. How's things w/ u?

By WilliamKeckler on Jun 13, 2011 at 12:00 AM

Hehe. Glad you enjoyed. Wonder where it really is. Sort of looks like some New Zealand beaches. I just realized today that section is for the inspirational captions. And i've been just captioning them sassily the way we all do with cats. Then I realized...OMG this is the part of the site that's causing all the controversy...because of the format change. But I guess we're free to caption them how we like...just not submit them to the IMMD section (which I wouldn't do). Hope all's well in your world. Ciao
