Today is 10.10.10, the day of the opening of the crystal portals in the worlds waters! a very auspicious occassion whether one is new age, pagan or "other". http://cheezburger.com/tookat/lolz/View/4049994496 http://cheezburger.com/tookat/lolz/View/4049994496 oh yes...and I have started my Haloween and Samhein lols...check "my stuff"!
I don't do green beer anymore. Not for ages... not since I tasted the wide world of beer. Last night I just settled on a pint of a scotch ale called ....hmm. I think it was called "dirty bastard"...heheheh...oh my it was good....and knocked me for a loop even though it was with a full meal. Still, I woke up with out green gills or hangover so I must not have been overly soused.
feh....glad you are still alive. I sooo relate to the computer issues. I finally bought my "new" laptop because of computer issues that were taking too long too fix. I love my "bigpink" a games playing model from Dell. It is still pretty fast considering all the stuff I have on it, the dvd/cd rom player is tons quieter...as is the whole system than my hp was. It is lighter, thinner...and PINK! not black....next one i will maybe buy purple or bright green...bright blue..I hope they never stop making stuff in bright colors again...some of us need our cheerful brights. My guides et al tell me there are significant solar flare activities going on right now that are creating general havoc with all things electrical...and some mechanical...and that has been annoying...feh, had to reboot the computer once today...restart the browser thrice so far.
the advice is an old folk wisdom....I am not sure where I got it from. The first time "I" heard it, I thought..impossible...how could I be the lesser lover...then i understood...the one you must love the most is yourself. I loved an emotionally abusive man for too long...it almost killed me....learning to love myself...taught me that I deserve the best I can get....someone who loves me...more...and actually it is quite practical...if your husband loves you to distraction...he isn't liable to turn you in for a younger model. Seriously? there has to be balance in love...someone who loves too much...could be a stalker...or not let their loved ones have the freedom to grow....dangerous.
Catslave put together a lol for international religion day...which is today. she asked for lols praising religious paths that are not ones own. http://cheezburger.com/View.aspx?aid=3054673920 I don't know if I will make any more in the series right now because I am feeling rather fried...but I may do more...and when I do, I will append them to the comments list on Catslave's lol. and yes...synchronisty is wonderful!
lol...i loved what you and your friend had to say about the star trek universe. I am not a trekkie either..but my housemates are. People who really love the series....are in love with that future.....a future of equality and possiblity and respect for all forms and creeds of life....well almost all creeds....kind of hard to respect a creed that alows another being to be hurt....and then there are those things the klingons eat. ick...glad i am not on a klingon diet. i suppose that is why my housemate likes seaweed salad so much.....it is like klingon food...oh wait! i like seaweed salad...wonder if there is any left? bye!
Yes, extreme "awesomeness". I wish that I knew more about Star Trek, than I really do. In these last two+ years, I can only say that I have learned that Trekkers are very special people. So, I am not sure that I could be called one, yet; more like a Trekker fan, than a Trekker (some of them are 2nd or 3rd generation LOL!!!). Though, at least one of them would flatter me by disagreeing on this. :-D She says that some people are born Trekkers, they just do not know it. And that it has a lot to do with the recognition of "wisdom", when it comes from a source that would normally be considered to foreign to be considered. That, plus the good sense to know when NOT to believe that there are "5" lights, when there are really only 4. (I am still researching the significance of this last one) ___"Blessed be, as you were blessed at the birth of the world!" (from your LOL). That is "awesomeness". :-D
