She loves to put her face thru the rails and watch things There are big tables and a grill in my line of sight.from her watching post Honest! That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Though twice today I whistled before I went inside. An hour ago, my son found a big rottie w/o a collar in the culdesac...still 28 degrees and high winds so we went out to check it out. Ran to the other side to a door and then barked and barked..figured that was his home. Yep, door opened and a flabbergasted guy opended up. Didn't know how he got out but figures it must have been an hour and in this weather! Guilt loves company LOL. I'm not the only one who'll be empty of treats this weekend. We love our dogs, really! We do! (oy vey, there's the guilt again)
who ever said dogs don't plot revenge?! Yesterday, in 25 degrees, winds at 50, I stepped onto my deck to take care of the4 trash can. The deck was all iced over and I hurried and slipped my way back in and closed teh door. 20 mins later, my daughter lets my dobie back in and they both give me 'the look'. Of course I fretted, warmed up her paws, apologized, gave lots of belly rubs - teh dog, not my daughter - and gave her a treat. So today my dog just blocked the door when I tried to get back inside. She jsut stood there and wouldn't budge. Until I had enough - she's not dumb. revenge of teh dog....be afraid.... LOL
