Even tho a year has gone by, I still think about you and wonder where you've gone, funny lady. Guess I'll never know. <sigh>
I was just sitting around eating Polish sausage on a fresh baguette and I thought, "Now where in the world is that auntie50?? Shouldn't she be back by now?" I stupidly erased the message where you told me when you were coming back, but figure it should be around now? Geez, you're missing all this HEAT and HUMIDITY, but I hope you're having (or have had) a blast!
Aha! I thought I sensed a strange presence peering over my shoulder when I got on here this evening! The site's been acting funky all evening (so what else is new), so I'm sure that didn't help your loading time. Glad the Big Apple was a good time! Have a safe flight & a fine time tootling around Europe - and take lotsa pics! New fodder for us lolnuts!
Dear Auntie, Well, you're going to have to say what sort of things you like: museums, monuments, food, nightlife, walking tours, bus tours? Let me know, and if you like give me your email address if you want to communicate more privately. You are going to love London. It's a great city. Shame about the purpose of the visit, tho'. I'm sorry to hear about that part. Pipwood
Oops, forgot about the alcohol. Yeah, the Alamo. Wow. Can't remember what's there now. Probably gaudy Tourista shops and the requisite Burger King. That and the size make it impossible to 'feel' the history of the place. Aw well.
hahaha! Just saw the cat mummy! Good one! Tho I was kinda expecting to see you mooning the camera with the Sphinx in the background or something - Oh, and a big ol' margarita in one hand!
Well, our "rain" blew right by and we didn't get a drop. Sound familiar? Egypt does sound like an arduous trip but still, bet it was worth it. Even as a kid I thought Egypt was fascinating. Heck, I thought the Alamo was fascinating! LOL! It was sure alot smaller than I thought it would be!
Wow! Aren't you the intrepid traveler! I guess you've got it down to a fine art! Egypt THREE times? I hazza jealous! Ooh, I hear thunder rumbling. Better go check the radar map, see what's going on. Of course, I should have expected rain, since I got all deeted up and watered a while ago. Don't dat just figgure!
Well ya know, someone might have missed it the first time around! ;~) Besides, they're all just jealous! Packing's a pain the the patooty these days, isn't it? 'Specially when ya gotta pay extra for all those bags. I checked my piggybank and guess I'm gonna have to miss this trip. <sigh> No more trips for a while. Would have loved to meet that crazy cast of characters! And you! Bet you'll have a blast!
HEY EVERYBODY! AUNTIE50 FINALLY GOT SOME! Heh heh heh! Well I'm sure glad ta hear it! It's been missing us lately, dammit, but it might as well be raining, it's so humid. And what's with this 90's every day? Sheesh! Looks like we're in for 3 solid months of August weather. O joy! Ya started packing yet? Can I go with ya?!!
OK, that one takes the prize! And those possums can be mean little schnits, too! We're about to head out, too. Guess I'd better slather on the bug spray. <sigh>
She has more energy than the energizer bunny!! I remember Nala was a very quiet kitten. Cleo is all over the place. She has allready found out how too climb stairs. Nala hasn't quite warmed up too her yet. Hope you are having a good weekend. Take Care
Hahaha! Poor woman! What's even worse is the time my brother-in-law was out on his patio late one night trying to get the cat in. He thought he saw it over in the bushes and went to grab it but lo & behold it was a skunk and that booger just nailed his butt! Of course, he ran right in the house to the bathroom and the whole place smelled for days. He'll never live THAT one down! Well, we're having MORE rain & thunder! Hope you've managed to get a little rain!
Yep, they grow so fast! Before you know it they aren't babies anymore. Have a safe & fun memorial Day weekend!
Well shoot, sorry ya didn't get much rain out of it! We got one good downpour on Thursday, that's about it. As for skeeters, don't get me started! Hah! Have a great weekend!!
