They haven't figured out what you've got? Wow. Jim's mom has had a case of shingles on one of her legs, the whole leg, for about 6 months and they can't clear it up. Go figure...they actually cured her of internal melanoma last year but can't do a damn thing about the shingles. I hope what the docs are doing for you works, and soon.
Good grief. You aren't hanging in there, you're hanging on. Nothing else we can do. I got this severe skin infection on both legs all the way from the knees to the ankles. It looked like it was eating my skin. Even my doctor said he was sorry I had suffered so badly. That was very kind. So I am slam full of antibiotics and skin cream waiting to see if my own skin is still under there anywhere. I am so sorry about Jim's parents and what he had to go through. It's hard to get any rest with all that on your mind. We've missed you, but I can see you have been pretty busy.
Still hanging in there. Been a crazy year. We had a lot of good happen but the bad things just ganged up on us with a vengence. March a year ago, hubby messed up his knee and had to have an operation and of course, they had to open up the knee completely. Right afterwards, his dad went in for a stent placement, ended up with a by-pass and a stroke. Almost lost him. His mom went downhill after his dad. Almost lost her too. Both were able to get back home by September. Jim was in rehab for his knee for 7 monts. For the holidays, Jim got deathly sick and almost lost him from a stupid stomach bug. Then his parents moved into a care facility where they will live until it's their time. Yep. Hanging in there describes it pretty well.
He was only 44 and his mother died Feb 23rd. Evan Robinson put a memorial on the cheezburger blog. It may still be there if you scroll down. His fiance let him know. No news on what happened that I know of
First! What is it you are selling on ebay? Just curious. I used to do ebay but I finally got tired of it. That was years ago. As for voting for a friend here, you can fave right from the lol on your dashbaord or click on the photo and do it from there, but no it doesn't show up like it used to. We carried on about the stupid cheeseburgers, but we wanted the votes. Guess they couldn't figure that out. What I do is go to MY FANS. I can tell from there who liked what, but it's not that effective if you are off for days like you sometimes are. I see that beernbeecies gave you a Pundit congrats so let me add mine to it. As for the FP notification, that is something that Greencliff has been complaining about for a long time. It seems the only ones going out right now are for old FP's.Who knows, maybe they are trying to catch up. Depend on your friends to tell you. That's the best way. Especially for me, because I won't go to the FP page since they made the lolmaker totally unimportant. And, used to, when you made a lol, your name was in the URL, not anymore. It belongs solely to cheezeburgers. Funny thing about that photo credit though. Awful lot of unknowns coming through. I think they are all unknown now.
I saw your comments to tookat about your daughter. We have all been thinking about her in spite of the Beta mess. I am glad that she got through to the doctors and that she is home. I know you must have been terrified for her and I hope you are more relieved at the outcome.
How kind of you to take your time to keep us all updated about your daughter. I know with every peck you take on that keyboard your mind is somewhere else worrying. But kudos for her for kicking back and arguing with her doctors about what she knew she needed. Sometimes you have to take a stand if you want things to get better, and no, that is not an oblique reference to ICHC. I was only talking about your daughter.
