Thanks for asking. It went real well. Did pre-recession levels of sales. That was nice. Been a while since we made that much. We were told that over 2000 people came through on Saturday. Sunday was just a little slower. I had over 2000 pieces of jewelry displayed. Sunday we finally got the card reader to work. Lost a sale on Saturday because the card reader wouldn't work. Jim had to buy an adapter for it Saturday night. On the way home Sunday stopped in at Lucky Lady's for dinner. It's a yearly thing. So now I have to re-organize all of my bottle cap jewelry pieces. yikes! I had over 1600 displayed but I've got at least triple that in stock. I'll get my ebay/holiday sale separation of stock figured out by next year. You take care and keep in touch.
Hi Barb, would have loved to come to the craft show in Spanaway to see u and ur stuff, but we have moved to Bend to be closer to son and gkids after my daughter-in-law passed and of May. We're all settled in here now and loving it. I do know I never want to move again! Hope u are both doing well.
Hi Sylvia, thanks for the birthday wishes. I'm glad to have been able to have another birthday. Jim got me a lovely present and it was just a low key day. it was wonderful. Now gearing up for the Spanaway Lake High School holiday craft show on Nov. 2 & 3 next weekend. If you end up there by any chance, my booth is in the gym, on the right side, midway down the right side isle. you can't miss it, I've got new emerald green table covers and a sparkling green backdrop. You take care now and thanks again.
So very glad Jim is doing much better. Sounds like his doc is staying on top of it. You just don't want to take any chances with chest pains. We are actually inBend, OR, visiting son and gkids and usually this time of year it is sunny and warm but we have had rain here all week too. And I packed mostly warm weather clothes. :)
Hi Sylviag, Jim is doing pretty good right now. In just a bit he's heading for his cardiac rehab class. He stayed overnight at hospital on Thursday night and came home before noon on Friday. Doc's say he had "atypical chest pain" which of course means they have no idea why. I get that 99% of the time when I go to the ER for chest pains. His doc said to just take it a bit easy, no moving boulders, and he goes to see the doc this Friday. He's been doing real good this week. He said that his chest just didn't feel right, no actual pain. So we wait until Friday and see what his doc wants to do from there. You have a great day in spite of our weather this week.
Gotta rol with the LOL punches:) There's a small gray star next to the top right of the LOL to fave, and at the bottom left below the LOL u can vote and save to a My Site. The Blog from a few days ago explains the change in Cust Spt. You have progressed in leaps and bounds on EBay - good for u. U hubs is a sweet and thoughtful man.
Hi Sylvia, we did have a nice valentine's. Since I don't go out much anymore, he's the one that brought home a card for me and a small heart box of fiero rocche or however you spell it. It was just right. Hope yours was good too. Been very busy all week working on ebay. They had free buy it now listings for only invited sellers and I was one of them. Got free listings for 5 days. I now have 600 items listed on my ebay site. I saved over $200 in listing fees with that. So now I come over here and see they've changed things again. So what's the word on what the favoriting and voting arrangement when you make a new lol?? I just made one and was a bit, no really a lot confused on the set up. I'm so lousy with figuring out this computer stuff. Oh well. They've even made it harder for me to figure out what they want me to fill out with these 'ticket' things just to ask a question. phhthtttt. Hope you have a great weekend. Take care.
I pop in whenever I can. Still working on the ebay sales. Their photo uploader keeps crapping out on me after abou 15 photos and then I have to get out of ebay and wait about half an hour for it to work again for me. Keep being told "it's an on going problem & we're working on it". I call bullshit on that. Been taking care of the hubby who is finally able to lift things again. Don't know if you knew he had a stent put in his right coronary artery the beginning of december, it was 98% blocked & so very close to a massive heart attack. He started cardiac rehab this week. I went through that about 11 years ago. Was very happy to still be a wife and not a widow. So between everything, I've been busy. But I do try to pop over now and then. As for the fog, I already miss it. Took some cool photos of the lights at night with the fog. You take care.
Oh my stars Barb, that was a close one for ur hubs - so very glad they caught that in time and were able to successfully place a stent. I know u will take good care of him and make sure he follow's docs orders. Always makes one so appreciate the love we have when there is a chance of losing it.
Hi Sylvia, thanks for the complement. I made that for Jim because we came very close to losng him last week. He'd been having chest pains off and on last month. After the first incident, he went to the family doc & had some tests, all looked fine, told to follow up with his cardiogist (he'd had a few rythum problems years back). He did that, had more extensive tests done & the results were that the doc couldn't see all he needed to see & last thurs. Jim went to the cath lab. Found that his right coronary artery was 98% blocked and he was so very close to a massive heart attack. The cardiologist brought in a specialist to place the stent. It worked and Jim came home on Friday. He's got to take it easy for the next 6 weeks or so, no heavy lifting, marathons or triathalons (docs words). So wonderful to see him so much better. I knew things were serious when the doc had me brought into the control room of the cath lab to show me Jim's heart and just how narrow that artery was and to ask me extra questions on what Jim wanted. So now you know the why for the lol I made for him. Showed it to him last night. He did get teary eyed. I'm very happy to still be a wife and not a widow. Thanks again for your lovely compliment. I wish for you and your family a wonderful Christmas and the very best for the new year. Barb
Hi Barb, what a lovely LOL for ur hubs! I am sure between holiday bazaars and e-bay u have been crazy busy.
