Howdy! A new flaptop, eh? Good on ya - I need one myself but for now will have to content myself with two desktops. :p It's funny you should mention the old days...several of us have been talking about that and you are right, the friendships here are *solid* and true. In fact, I do believe you were one of my first friends when that part of the site came online. :o) That got me thinking about all those LOLz that disappeared from my vault when the big change happened. The LOLz I built on my computer and then uploaded as fully captioned have all gone to data heaven because the hard drive to which they'd been saved bit it big time many moons ago. The ones I built on site, however...went to my old myspace page and there they were! Yay, technology!! (There's a link on my profile, if you're interested, but you probably have all of those already. Cheezland is a magical place, is it not? Every now and then a fly comes along to bathe itself in the ointment but by and large this is the happiest place I know...glad you're along for the ride! :o)

Ohai! There's nothing special you have to do to be an "adult" user...nothings has changed except that LOLz with profanity will no longer be deleted from profiles. They'll be removed from the voting queue and will NEVER appear on the front page but they won't be deleted from the profiles any longer. Dat's all! :o)

They eat the big nasty spiders! I *do* freak out a bit when I first see them, but only because they're so big and fast and it takes a minute for it to sink in that they have more than eight legs...!

The cheezpeeps are AWESOME! I can't say that enough! I have made serious life-changing friendships here, and I never suspected that would happen when I captioned my first kitteh oh-so-many moons ago. It's just further proof that life is full of the unexpected and the miraculous. It's a good place to be. Thanks for being part of it with me! *hugs*

Thank you. I just hope it doesn't offend too many people, because that's not my intention. It's just an observation concerning some of the things I've seen and heard lately, things that make me sad. I love my cheezfriends and I love the place where I gather with them. It hurts to see the ranks divide. It hurts to see factions. I know it's unavoidable but that doesn't mean I have to like it. *hugs*
Been seeing you around, too, so much so that I think I thought we were already friended. *facepalm* I like all that you mentioned plus too many others to name (BOC, Alan Parsons Project, Andreas Vollenweider, ad infinitum). I believe there's no bad music, only music I don't like; no matter how horrible I think a tune is, to somebody, somewhere, it's the greatest song EVAR. I respect that.
