I loves Corning Glass, too, and makes sure I gets there once a year. I uploaded a picture of Buttermilk Falls in winter -- sure looks different, doesn't it? Have a gud day at work, headbonks and purrs to you, too.

That sounds wonderful! I hav been wanting to explore teh wineries there. We went to teh Corning glass museum a couple of years ago and were vry impressed. I know where Buttermilk Falls are. ai have a fun memory about them. When ai flew in and visited alone ai took teh bus from teh motel up to teh college and it stopped in teh park each morning. 1 day teh bus driver let me get out and take a picture of teh falls. He was so pleasant, but then every one ai met there was so very nice. Got to head out to werk now, will talk more later. Purrs and head bonks to u, frend.

Oh, good, we can go to a couple wineries together -- I really favor the Seneca Lake wineries, and maybe you haven't explored that way yet. I also live near upper Buttermilk Falls, and from the park trail you can hook into the Finger Lakes Trail for some nice walking. And if you go on to the Albany area, you know that two_kittehs has moved to Troy, so there's potential for another Cheezmeet.

Ohai, booklion. Our travel plans are pretty flexible. My husband is semiretired and my classes will be out so we have a little time to explore. We were up for a week a year ago in the fall and enjoyed seeing some of the gorges, falls and the state park. I love to garden so I am looking forward to seeing the Cornell Plantations when there are actually flowers and plants growing. We have reservations for Fri the 22nd, Sat and Sun nites at the Econologe north of teh college. The crunch for motel space seems to be just the weekend and we had to pay for the rooms last September. But we figure we could add an extra day on at either end of the stay if we needed to. we were thinking of driving up near Albany and checking out some family history later in the week.

Oh, gud, I will put it in my datebook and plan around it. Cornell graduation time fills this small town to overflowing. If you got a place to stay in Ithaca, you were lucky! Where will you be? Will you have time to go look at wineries or waterfalls?

I am so happitail thinking about a cheezmeet! I hope this date works wif ur schedule.
