I believe it on the gory cat tale. My neighbor's cat is the reason we don't have birds around here anymore ):
Hee. Your "Epic Fail in Progress" reminds me of a real-life scene like that. An auntie kitty (who was actually no blood relation) was teaching a kitten how to mouse. This kitten was still very small, and the mouse stood up to him, rearing up and chattering his teeth, making the kitten back up. This happened two or three times, but alas, while the mouse was very brave, he didn't live very long. Chip, the "auntie" got tired of the display and dispatched him rather quickly, showing the youngster how it's done. Honestly, cats can be better (if more distressingly gory) than TV.
