he didn't directly follow them though. they had been in there for a while and he came walking along and pushed the door open. if he finds the door shut but not snugly shut, he'll push on it and presto he can go in. he gets upset if i close any doors, especially if i'm on the other side so living alone i pretty much havent done that in years. so i'm not sure how molly reacts.
lol. i think patches loves humans. i used to always have roommates and they were always female. well patches liked to get in the shower iwth me from the day i got him at 6 weeks old but that was because he wanted to be held. well i always warned my roommates to shut their bathroom doors all the way and shut them tight. did they listen..no? and then i'd hear about how patches peeked around the shower curtain at them. well i warned them!
molly must have somehow heard/read what you said. she lifted her head up and flexed her toes, spreading them out. didn't stretch her leg, just spread her toes out to show them off. practicing her flirting skills? i told her she's only 2, she couldn't go to the valentines day kkps dance yet lol
hai. i know you been busy but i wanted to say hai because we havent talked in forever, not even to say hai and i wanted to let you know i was thinkin bout you :) molly can't give you wet nose kisses right now because she's napping..but she's pointing little pink jellybean toes at you instead. patches is sleeping too, and sorry he doesnt have anything to give but some snoring, not quite as cute.

although that doesnt mean i don't worry about her like the vision thing
she didn't like it before she was spayed and the vet molly had at the time said that some cats don't like their belly touched but that you can train cats to like anything with treats. i didn't bother trying to convince molly to let me to touch her belly with treats. she was my little girl and i chose her just the way she was..i mean she chose me just the way she was lol
ty for putting up the picture of molly. i took that the first week she dopted me :) . i only slept about 3 hours last night but i did spend 10 minutes scratching molly's armpits. she likes it, but hates her belly even being touched to the point she'll bite.
molly has her favorite music artist..isnt that funny? she just loves Sarah McLachlan i think because i used to play it all the time when she was itty bitty and she felt all secure with me and so now she associates that with feeling safe maybe. i just thought of it because my new neighbors are noisier than all $*% and they have somebody over working on something and banging and molly is soo scared and i put on some Sarah McLachlan and molly is laying next to me now. she still seems stressed but the music is on my computer so she's gravatating towards me and the music.
i just worry about molly, like we talked about the skittish-ness. it's hard to be playful with one cat and move slowly around the other one at the same time. especially when i'm so used to being playful with 2 cats and i guess i'm just worried about her and feel bad that she's so scared
actually he has diabetes, a heart murmur and hyperthyroidism but i give him his insulin twice a day and he loves to take his pill for his thyroid because i put it in a greenies pill pocket. as soon as i pick up the bag he's zoooom! right there and i have to be careful he doesnt eat the pill pocket before i put the pill in it lol. for a couple hears after tigger died he just wasnt the same but he's getting back to his old self, climbing on my lap and wanting his forehead smooches, wanting me to wrap my arms around him and snuggle. he still isnt sleeping in bed with me like he used to though. he used to use my head as a pillow and i'd hear him purrrrring in my ear for a while and then it'd go quiet and then i'd hear snoring.
almost as much fun as me watching a 14 y.o. cat do a butt wiggle when he sees some squirrels outside? (i'm watching patches having some fun of his own) just hoping he remembers there's glass there and doesn't try and pounce like he did when he was younger...

it all makes so much more sense after that discussion we had the other day. molly was messing around the power cords by my tv earlier and it looked like she was trying to catch a bug. she does this sometimes. i looked and i didnt see a bug there anywhere, or anything that looked like a bug to me.
she's calmed down a lot since i've learned that i can't just walk up to her like i do or did with tigger and patches. molly was spending so much time under the couch i barely saw her so i started out that anytime i came near her it was only crawling on my hands and knees if possible. sometimes if i just walked into the room and i wasnt even walking near her or in her direction she ran under the couch. maybe just the sound or seeing some sort of movement spooked her.
:( i didnt have this problem with tigger or patches. so what do they do for that? she was calm as a kitten and when i'm up close and move slowly she's fine. ok, put your paw over the other eye and read the eye chart again....... maybe we'll get her kitteh eyeglasses and she can have glasses like her mommy
oh wow...because molly is very jumpy/skittish too. i have to be careful about moving too fast towards her or around her or she freaks out and runs away, and that seems like if she couldn't see well something like that would scare her. she wasnt like that as a kitten. ok, put your paw over your left eye and read the chart in front of you please.
