Glad your rotator cuff is fine - wonder who it is whose isn't??? Yes, poms do jump up and down repeatedly. But mainly mine bounces around in circles. And she's an old lady - how can she do that?!?She is a very good watchdog. If she hears something outside she won't stop til I go look and tell her everything is ok. I don't discourage that - could save my life someday. I also watch the cat for his reaction to her barking. If he thinks the noise is strange his back hair goes up and he follows me. I love animals!!!!

Have they xrayed your shoulder to be sure your rotater cuff wasn't damaged - that can cause a lot of pain. I'm glad your Mom has her girls there to keep her from being lonely. Alex and Princess keep me from bein' lonely - don't know what I'd do without them. Princess is a beautiful red pom. She is registered and I tell her she could have been a show dog and won lots of ribbons. She is perfectly proportioned. Poms are great watchdogs. If she hears something she will bark until I check it out and tell her it is okay. Then she shuts up and goes off. Whenever anyone comes in the house she will bark until they pet her - then she shuts up - when people leave she barks all the way to the door - I think she doesn't like for them to leave cause she thinks they came to see her! Barking is her only bad thing but it is very natural for her so I don't say much to her about it. Thanks again for your friendship. Take care - LYNN

I cannot imagine what your mother is going thru losing her soulmate. 60 years with someone is such a long time. How is she coping? will remember her in my prayers. Lynn

Gary and I were only together 16 years but they were the only happy and safe years of my life. I learned from him how to take care of myself and not let others hurt me. He gave me self-confidence or I should say he taught me how to attain it. I am seeing a therapist to be sure I don't 'lose it' some day. My black cat is an example of a basement cat. He is a one person cat, period. He was Gary's cat. But he seems to understand that Gary is not coming home and it is nobody's fault and he is transferring his love to me gradually. When I am home he does not let me get out of his sight. When I come home he is at the door waiting. But if anyone else tries to get close to him, he hisses, spits and growls. So that's why I call him a basement cat. Lynn

yes, there is a lot of talent out there that only gets recognized on sites like this. I find myself thinking, why didn't I think of that.. to be honest, there are some that I don't get, may have something to do with my age, and occasionally there will be some that I think are in poor taste, but they are few a far between. Sometimes you can learn a lot about a person by reading the messages people have sent to them. I don't feel like I'm eavesdropping or anything cause we all know any message can be read by anyone. You just can't send a message to someone unless they are your friend. Sweet dreams. Lynn

People who are your friends will always see what you create and what you fav. And you will see what they are doing. This is a site full of wonderful people with a lot of love in their hearts. It has helped me thru some very bad times. Talk more later. Lynn
