If it's Kliban, then I probably just assimilated it and forgot ever seeing it. Strangly enough, I sing it to a blues riff as well. However Heinz was a real cat. She belonged to one of my college roomates. Roomate's dad was stationed in Australia when they aquired Heinz. When they returned stateside, they made arrangements for Heinz to fly back with them. Unfortunately at the last minute the plane was changed to a model without a pressurized hold. Amidst the howl of disappointed kids, my roomates mother stuffed a Valium into the cat, and carried her onboard in her purse. Heinz made the trip and lived a long full life.
