OH indeed! It does sound like a special occasion!! I try to spend Mother's day with mom too. It doesn't always work out ... my parents have taken to traveling a lot. My family combines the Father's Day with my birthday and my sister's birthday. My birthday comes in the week after Father's day and my sis's is in the week before (or sometimes ON) Father's day.

I was born on Mothers Day. I just spent my 60th Mothers Day (counting the one on which I was born) with my mom, who is 93 now. I've only missed 4 Mothers Days in all my 63 years. It's a very special day.
