@ undiscovered caves--I got that question a lot. When I compared notes with the other tour guides and the manager, they said they did, too--after a while, we just made up a random number like ("1,967" or "about 2500"), said it with a straight face, and the people would nod wisely, and we could move on...Man, it was hard not to laugh! Wicked, I know...

When I was doing cavern tours, people asked such idiotic questions, and got upset about such stupid stuff! A few of the common questions were "how many undiscovered caves are there?" and "how dark is it down here at night?" (the dark question being asked after the demo where you have everyone in a safe place, and tell them to stand very still, and turn off the lights. One lady got all mad because we didn't have a train to ride through the caverns, and another was upset because she couldn't drive her car through them. Makes you really wonder how the human race survived this long...
