Hi Thanks for sharing. Eboney is only 8. He does have other problems. So far so good im keeping his insulin to 1 and 1 /2 instead of 2 so far so good. His thyroid was high and that medicine is working well hes actually gained a bit of weight. Hes a sweet kitty. How are you doing ready for school to get out. S
Hi Thanks. Im not on much either. Eboney has had three of thoes episodes but the vet thinks its his brain. Strange it starts at 5:00 p and lasts 4 hours. So sad to watch. If he spins I pick him up but he doesnt seem to know me. He did it last night. Today he was tired but seems ok tonight. Not going to put him through tests when nothing can be done.Just love him lots. Hai CB How are you doing. Eboney is really having a lot of trouble. His thyroid was high so he is on meds for that also. Now he is having these spells where he just walks around and licks everything and doesnt seem to know us or care. Hes only 8 and we are just loving him as much as we can. All three of our kitties were rescued so we all try to give them extra love. Happy Easter. S
Hi, Eboney had a bad insulin reaction last Sunday. The Dr did more blood work and he now has a thyroid problem too. Hes only 8 . He would eat a lot and still loose weight. Now that the thyroid is getting under control the insulin will work better. Wish i could test him. Hope you are doing well. S
Hi, Eboney wants to ask you if you hide under the desk at insulin time. I told him you had a pump but he wanted to know for himself. Sometimes hes really good and comes to me for his insulin. He knows when he doesnt need as much. Small dose 1 to 2 units twoce a day so bottle lasts a long time. Take case. S
Hi Eboney wants to know how you are feeling. He has four days where he didnt look good. Hes looks great today. I wish he could tell me what is wrong. Three times over the year his sugar dropped low. He spins aound in a circle until we can get some Karo in him and then hes fine. Its scar because what if no one is home. He cant help himseff to Karo. He loves sweets so we cant leave anything out. Hi You can tell im the mom of a 8 year old diabetic cat named Eboney. He is the black kitty in my pics. I know what he has gone through in the past year. Kitties cant be tested at home so its quite risky. So far so good. Let us know how you manage your diabetes. S
