Having a German Shepherd, I have to ask - where do you find the physical room for all those beautiful Great Danes? I'd love to have a 2nd GSD, but when I think about inside our house & traveling, that puts a damper on it. We travel in our state & into VA & NC, but our main travels in our trucks are out to the NorthWest to visit our sons and their families. My husband's favorite dog is a (rabbit-hunting) beagle, and they fit in quite a bit smaller space. His passed away abt. 3 yrs. ago, but I think he's about ready to begin looking for another. My GSD is so easy-going & friendly, that he'll be happy with any new addition. Right now he and I are misssing my Siamese mix that left us last week. We'd had her over 14 yrs - she was originally our son's before he left for college. She'd make herself right at home beside or on "Nik" in his bed more than she'd sleep in her own. :)
