2 degrees is ugly. thats why I moved out here a long time ago. You can really tell the people who were born and raised in this part of Ca. If it gets just a little below 30, they act like the world is about to end. Stay warm. john

I've been pretty good. Work is a little slow from the weather. It has been really cold [for us that is] We got snow on the hills around town monday night and it went down to 25 degrees a couple of nights. This is not what I moved out here for but it doesnt happen very often. Our latest rescue is almost ready to adopt.

No complaints here. In the winter, snow is close enough to play in. Then you can LEAVE!

I forgot one thing, out here in Feb. it might be 30 degrees and raining but you can still feel your fingers and toes.

Life in central Ca. is really quite amazing. I am in Livermore, which is 90 minutes from the surf in Santa Cruz, and about 2 hours from snow in the mountains in the winter. If you drive like a maniac it is quite possible to surf and snowboard in the same day. Yea for bouncing puppies. John.

Hey there. I grew up in Champaign, moved out here when I got out of the Navy. Spent some time in Florida and decided to move away from snow. Our little dog that had pelvic surgery is bouncing all over the house now. He is still a few weeks away from adoption.

Thanks for favoriting my LOL. Glad to meet any critter lover. A good friend of mine is a vet tech so most of our zoo is rescues. We always seem to have an emergency in progress around here, right now we have a little mutt recovering from pelvic surgery because it was hit by a car. Most of them we get adopted but some are keepers. Read my profile, we really have a zoo. BTW what part of ILL. are you in ?
