I'm proud that she has stuck with it so long. My son decided band was too much work and quit after one year. Next year I'll be expected to go to all the home football games. Maybe I'll do what my grandma did when I was in high school....sleep through everything till half-time... then go back to sleep till the end of the game...LOL

Hiya Creepy one! My daughter performed in the band Christmas concert Monday night. They sounded very good. Her teacher may move her up to Honors band next semester.

I was a band geek from 6th thru 12th grade and played tenor sax. Mick got the chance to play with the high school band at a football game. She had a blast trying out the "marching French horn" and can't wait to get to high school (ok...I just scared myself).

Happy Caturday! I was reading your profile and see you play French horn. My daughter plays French horn in 8th grade symphonic band. I tease her about sounding like a wounded moose but her playing is getting better (she's been playing since 5th grade and plans to play through high school at least).
