The best places to promote your lulz remain Facebook and Twitter. There are also categories for memes and lolcats on Redit and other feed type sites. You can also sign up for an account on BuzzFeed or BoingBoing. If your lol gets shared on Facebook it's the same as someone favoriting it on Cheezburger thus increasing the likelihood of making the voting and/or the front page.
