*tries not to laugh* hmmm i'm gonna tell you about patches and the liquid reglan. now i had a ton of trouble getting liquid pain medication in him a couple years ago when he had a tooth pulled. you'd think a kitteh would want pain med when their toof was pulled right? even after i got a dose in him he still fot it! so the reglan i had an easier time just holding him on his back in my arms like a baby and using one arm and sneaking up to the side of his mouth and talking to him and shooting it in as a surprise! *giggle* before he knew it, it was in there. he'd shake his head because he didn't like it. it smelled horrible, like bad, yucky cough medicine to me. actually like reglan we give through g-tubes, probably the same stuff. but i got it in him without a towel even. found it easier than using a towel. his tapasol i put in a pill pocket and he comes running as soon as he hears me picking up the pill bottle because i get the pill out first or i have no hope of getting it in the pill pocket. he loves those pill pockets sooo much. i have to hold him back with one elbow while i put the pill in and he sucks the thing in and chews it up then jumps off the counter to drink some water. it's so gooey it makes him thirsty i guess. the tapasol is so tiny though i'm sure he doesnt notice it

yeah and i got a question for you. i noticed today when i was walking through the room here that one of them threw up on one of my power strips. right into the plug!!! well part of it went into the plug and i was thinking omg could they get electrocuted that way? i don't think so, i hope not, but is it possible? just in case i thought i'd ask your opinion. i'm not sure who did it because patches is the one who's always thrown up a lot of the time, never seen molly do it, but she's the one who sits in that very spot sooooo often. i also think that might cause a fire but i guess i'm more worried about the electrocution.

patches says you musta sent the vet he got cuz he liked him better than his usual vet. the one he normally has was on vacation so he got another one in the same office. the one molly sees(somehow they ended up with different vets in the same office) patches spent over an hour and a half there including 45 minutes waiting for lab results. he had labs drawn which they took him in the back for so i'm sure just to make sure everything was ok, they did the dreaded thermometer *duh duh duhhhhh!(music)*. he came back and we waited. i got him cuddling and purring even! then because of the results he got a shot of insulin, a shot of reglan and 2 shots of fluids and he still behaved through it all! he did hiss through the second half of the 2nd fluids so they stopped, but the vet even commented that i did a good job raising him because he was so well behaved for all that *beams proudly as a mommeh*. i think some of it is how the kitteh feels though and some is the vibe they get off the vet. his usual vet, he growls and hisses just having his abdomen palpated and his heart listened to.

well the hard part was convincing patches to go to the vet..this is what he said http://cheezburger.com/6049410816 but i told him you were busy and he reluctantly agreed since he felt so bad he slept with me the night before and he couldnt keep his breakfast down and noms mean the world to him!

aawww fank you ..and your fatties lol mine are skinnies although patches eats plenty. it's dat diabetes. he went to da v-e-t last week? week before cuz he was throwing up and his blood sugar was 497 :( *sigh* he was 10.1 pounds but he was dehydrated and had thrown up a bellyful the night before and everything he ate that morning, so he might be more when his belleh is full and he's hydrated. he actually slept with me that night, i guess he needed his mommeh cuz he wasnt feeling good. first time he'd slept with me in over 2 years. gud luck on the job search *hugs*
