Oh fanx, Fred's Mom! How yoo gonna afford all the critters if hubby doesn't find work? I had an interview last Thursday and today they called me and told me they chose somebody else. I asked if they had any advice for me to let me know if they think I need more skills or knowledge and they said that I seemed to have good strong skills but they just chose a different person. I'm always a bride's maid and never a bride.

Just about the time that my hubby and I figured it was time to share our home with kittehs there was a young man who had these 2 and wanted a good home for them. He loved them but he was feeling the pressure of responsibility was more than he wanted in his life. Turns out he was dating the daughter of some friends of mine and neither of us knew about our cat issues. He didn't know we wanted to adopt and we didn't know he had cats. Hubby & I went to a local cat shelter and told them what we were looking for. He went to the shelter and told them to look for a good home but he didn't want to bring his cats to them to "put them in jail". Pretty neat story, eh?

My cuzin in Ontario Canada has horses. She sez teh vet bills can really hurt sometimes. She has learned to do a number of things so that she can save some money that way.

Ohai, Fred's Mom! I read a message you did to Muriel about how the heart breaks when a fur baby dies but that there's always room for more. I agree with you 100%. Every time I get a new fur baby I think that someday I'll have to face hurt - but I think the happy times with the fur baby fills up the cracks in the heart where it got broken. From everything I've read from you, I can tell you are a good and positive person. I am still praying for your Smarts.
