Yes that was it. Lots of reasons to go the way you did. Horrendous traffic. Your insurance isn't valid there anyway. They've rebuilt it since then, the walk might be easier now.

Gmail can retrieve email from Yahoo. Not too hard but probably more than you want to undertake.
Yup! But more seriously, I have it in for Yahoo ever since they gave up a Chinese dissident some years ago. Chinese govt. asked Yahoo to I.D. a Yahoo email account. Gutless Yahoo did; dissident was shipped off to hard labor camp.
"peculiar to yahoomail": yep, Yahoo is peculiar all right. Next time that happens test with a different file or two. I was with meowrrrr two days last week and hope to be back before the end of the month. TBD.
Scanned and wouldn't attach...should have come in as image file, usually in the Windows "Temp" folder & then you have to save it. What error did you get? Was the file too big? Good luck with hubster.

Sounds like whoever installed your printer set it up as a network printer. You can add the ability to print via USB by running the installation CD again. There should be a simpler way, but I can't think of it off the top of my head. Probably in the printer settings either on the machine or on the computer.

Sure, copy the pictures again if you have the flash drive. Not understanding your Favorites issue. Were those ever transferred to the new computer? If YesPlis saved them to the flash drive, they should be recoverable...but I understand the overwhelmed feeling all too well. :holds gwgs to keep brain cells firmly anchored:
